Black Panther Cafe Bar

we came here on a weeknight during summer holidays and it was super quiet. they unfortunately were not offering table service that day as they were understaffed, but they were happy for us to sit inside as long as took the takeaway rubbish with us, which we were more than happy to do. we got two pizzas and they were super hot and fresh and incredibly delicious. they had a nice soft drink selection too. the lady running the front of house was very friendly and kind. there were plenty of tables outside too with room for families. i would recommend eating here.

We ended up here for brunch as the nearby Cafe had already closed the kitchen at 11.30am. Ordered the falafel pita and it was AMAZING!
Ended up here again at dinner as every place we tried before was closed - even though they should have been open according to their Google open times - and another had a 1 hour wait for food. We ordered the Margherita pizza and Sumac spiced barramundi - once again, we were not disappointed! Everything was delicious and the staff were lovely. We will definitely visit again next time we're in Halls Gap.

Excellent parmas, crispiest chips ever. Rocked up way past their closing time and still so friendly and accommodating so we didn't have to go hungry for the night! Other venues in Halls gap have closing hours much later but turned us away saying their kitchens are closed....

Ordered pizza and schnitzel on a Tuesday night which was a quiet night in town, not a lot open. Great service, pizza was delicious and the schnitzel was light,crispy and perfectly done and chicken nice and tender. Fries with the schnitzel were amazing. Definitely recommend and would order again from them.

Had a “Big brekkie “ - served promptly and with very friendly service. Maybe could be a touch ‘cosier’ with decor for five stars.

Almost didn’t eat here, as there were other spots with better reviews, but we got here late at night and it was the only spot still serving food. Our service was excellent, the pizza was great, and we got to sit on the patio and enjoy watching the cockatoos. Wanted to include a photo but it was so dang good we just ate it too fast. Will definitely return:)

Needed a spot for some lunch in Halls Gap and the kids were feeling like pizza so we gave the Black panther Cafe a shot.

Great little local spot with enough seating inside and outside for small groups of between 4-8 with their larger tables outside. Big display of cakes inside to keep everyone happy and a large selection of toppings for the pizzas.

When we dined their pizzas came out pretty quickly but during long weekend or public holiday times it can be a little wait as they get busier.

Overall very happy with our service and our experience at the Black Panther.

This cafe was a lot quieter than the others however, it did not disappoint! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We ordered iced lattes and they had run out of ice, so one of the staff quickly ran to buy some just to make our coffees. The food was delicious and fresh & came out quickly. We don’t know why this cafe wasn’t as popular as the others, as it is definitely a great place to go, especially with such friendly staff.

Had a delicious breakfast this morning.
We were travelling in group so we ordered various dishes & all of them came plate full, more than enough for one person.

All meals presented great. I recommend Avocado smash & Egg Benedict.... yumm😍

The food and coffee were great, but it was the service that really amazed me here. The woman who owns the shop was so kind and welcoming, and went above and beyond for us both times that we ate here. Next time I'm in Halls Gap, i'll definitely be going back to Black Panther. I can't recommend it enough!

Mexican Parma was fantastic. Reminiscent of the Mexicana pizza I had here a few weeks ago which was awesome also. Salad simple but nice. Not too much dressing. Parma had just the right amount of chilli, enough to make your tongue tingle. Went down nice with a Heineken.

Had our final night in Halls Gap Sunday and decided we didn't want to cook so we went out. Happy we decided to try The Black Panther as the staff were friendly, very accommodating and food was quick and delicious. We had one of the kids spill a drink and due to a gust of wind an adult lost their wine but the staff were quick to help clean it up and replaced the drink no question. Gorgeous setting surrounded by the mountains and able to watch the sun disappear behind them. As long as you don't mind the local wildlife dropping by to say hello you'll enjoy it too.

Their chicken parmas are soooo delicious and the chips are so crispy. We went in really late but they were still so welcoming and friendly to serve us. Highly recommended. 😊

My husband and I have been here before, and we have wanted to come back ever since and they did not disappoint! Great service, really clean environment, great views and amazing food!

We had lunch here. We ordered the pizza, burger and fish (see pictures). The pizza was delicious with fresh ingredients and a crunchy base. It has anchovies which we liked. Fish was fresh and tasty - a pleasant surprise as this location is far from the sea. And the burger was also very good.

Overall, we enjoyed our meal here and would recommend this place.

Great place after tedious climb to the pinnacle..good selection of food ans price is reasonable..nice coffee too..we went during the Christmas period and they were short of staff..but they did their best to serve us ..

Delicious pizza and amazing cheesy garlic bread! Would love to come back here again one day. The staff were so lovely!!!

Lovely food, friendly service. Great location, Rosella birds outside the windows. Easy to get to. $10 for muffin, $18 for smashed avocado.

Friendly staff - they even offered water to my dog and I found the pizzas quite tasty. We went there a second day for some salt and pepper squid as well as some barramundi and it was good too.
