Louttit Bay Bakery

As someone diagnosed with a gluten intolerance later in life, I thought the days of grabbing a classic salad sanga and choccy treat from the bakery were over for me.

I should preface by saying I’m intolerant, not coeliac, so cross contamination is ok for me. Being a standard bakery there is no way for them to ensure their GF options don’t have tiny little traces of gluten.

I’m currently eating the YUMMIEST salad sanga made freshly by the team at Louttit, using their own freshly made non gluten bread, and an almond meal choc brownie. I’m so happy.

Heaps of yummy looking options for the gluten eaters, def don’t be swayed. It’s just so nice to have gf options.

The cheese and salad sandwich was sooo soo rich and fresh 😍😍😍 OMG I totally enjoyed having it. The almond croissant is the same. Very tasty. We loved their latte too. Friendly service. Especially, the barista was super friendly and welcoming. Totally recommended. ❤❤❤

All staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The sandwich they recommended was very tasty! The chocolate milkshake was thick and creamy. Next time I am in the area - I will be back!

I stop in here on my bike rides for a refresh and refuel. Grab a Cornish pastie and a latte and you’ll be just right (good coffee too).

My first time having a sausage roll it was pretty good in the donut was good too

The only cafe that opens at 6 am in Lorne! The coffee is divine and the serving size is great. We tried a few baked goods both sweet and savoury and each one was fresh and tasty.
The staff are friendly and serve with a smile.

A solid 5 stars from us!

My son is on the spectrum and sometimes has a compulsion to throw drinks on the ground. This happened that day and the guy made him a new drink and was very kind about it all. The staff are lovely and the food and drinks are delicious.

Staying in the Mantra Appartments across the road, this was our go-to for breakfast each day while in Lorne. Croissants, pastries, and coffee....

Spinach and ricotta roll was so hot and delicious, you can tell that it’s home made!
Cheese and olive bread stick was so soft and delicious. Great coffee too - drop in for a friendly chat and good service.
