Mantra Lorne

been visiting this joint annually for a few years now.... has never disappointed us. love the one bed apartments! very central location at Lorne with an insanely scenic beach just behind it....
only nit pick is that the toilets look to be getting a tad tired.
A cosy winter escape...

We checked in last week and were delighted to be welcomed to Mantra Lorne by the lovely receptionist, Tyla.
Tyla was very helpful and knowledgeable about the hotel and the local area. She was also very accommodating to the exact room we needed.
Although the rooms were average we are definitely coming back the service at the front desk was amazing.

I stayed here for a whole week, 5 nights in garden view resort and 2 nights in Heritage.

This was such a relaxing and pleasant vacation. The room was neat and clean and there was so much to do. I had a great experience with staff and loved being close to everything.

This is my second time staying here and I have had a great stay both times.

My only gripe is the spa was cold my entire stay, looking at some previous reviews, it does seem to be an ongoing issue. Hopefully they put some money towards getting it sorted long term because it does seem to be a desired feature.

Beautiful place to stay. Heritage room was spacious and whole hotel was clean and tidy. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect walking distance from the restaurant district and the beach.

Honestly - such an underrated place. We were considering staying at the Lorne Hotel but I am so so so glad we stayed at Mantra Lorne instead. The hotel was super accommodating, extremely clean and had the most wonderful service. The receptionist Ramona was incredible and so detailed with her recommendation and made our very last minute booking such an amazing treat. ❤ the perfect view to the sea, slept while listening to amazing waves. Thank you

Can't fault this place. Spent 10 days, right on the beach, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Only tip is don't leave your balcony doors open or a Cockatoo will raid your snack stash

Had a great experience staying in single bedroom with kitchen. Very clean and tidy and opens up to a nice view to the tennis court. Room service was through onsite restaurant named The Larder and menu was limited for order but not when you dine in (requires booking). I noticed the apartments closer to the beach had a better view and privacy but costly too. If you're regular here then do sign up to Accor for loyalty discounts which also allows to check out till 12pm(as opposed to regular 10am for non accor members). Hope the review helps!

Stayed here Xmas and boxing day in the ocean suite top floor view straight of the ocean, amazing view shame of the weather, l would highly recommend this room. Front staff are very lovely great service.

In the heart of Lorne, absolutely refreshing views and clean rooms. Staff are accommodating too for requests. Local bar and restaurant is handy otherwise close to so many known eateries in Lorne. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location, perfect apartment & perfect service. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with ocean views. Very clean & modern & loves the bathroom. Full amenities in kitchen. What I loved most is full sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Can't wait to stay again.

Fabulous ! Can't fault it. The location on the foreshore at Lorne is unbeatable. The staff are lovely, and the buffet breakfast is a feast !

This is not my first time to Lorne however I have to review Mantra on their service we received on our check in. On Friday we arrived to our booked Roomwe got a room and when me and my partner looked at the room we didn't like the room and went back to reception. We did noticed they where busy at mantra with some seminar a lot people their and gather they might be fully booked.

We explained to the front desk we where not entirely happy with the room . As the front desk staff explaining to us they might not be able to accommodate us with another room due to fully booked the front desk Manager with the name Ramona stepped forward hearing what was discussed. She said wait let's see if she could assist. To found a solution Wow in 6 min she done her magic and indeed found a better room with a stunning sea view. I have to say all the staff at Mantra was really nice however I have to say Ramona stood out here. Me and my partner want personally say thank you to your remarkable hard working staff at Mantra Lorne your guys are stars keep up the good Work.

Stayed in an ocean view apartment for one night. Great views from the second floor and easy walk onto the beach. Apartment was clean and spacious - the bed was very comfortable. There was a huge array of delicious food at the buffet breakfast. Staff were courteous and friendly. I'd highly recommended staying here next time I'm visiting Lorne.

Just left a 5 night stay and can not fault Mantra Lorne.
The onsite amenities were great and the kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The pool/spa and sauna were a huge hit. Followed closely by the tennis courts.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with all their local knowledge.

We have children with special needs and a service dog (Assistance Dog). The room was lovely, we were blessed with brilliant views of the ocean, amazing location, close to walk to shops, playground, beach, cafes. The Hotel has lots of activities for kids; a pool/spa, a playroom (with bean bags, videos/big screen tv, and colouring in), a little putting green, tennis, lawn bowls and more. The staff were amazing and very accepting of our needs as a special needs family. We have stayed here before and had a good experience with our children (who don't travel well) so we were coming back for familiarity, and will definitely come back regularly now. It suited us very much. Thanks particularly to Kasey who helped us have an amazing time away. We were SO grateful to have a lovely break away :)

I had an amazing experience during my stay at this place! The room was fantastic, and the reception service was top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service, especially at The Ladder restaurant. I must mention Marina, Max, and Aster, whose exceptional attention made my dining experience truly memorable. Highly recommended!
