This is hands down the best hair cut I’ve received. I’ve been having my hair cut since it opened. Kristian and the team are so professional and skilled and great people. I’ve had both hair and beard trims and always very happy. Fun fact: I had my hair cut the day before my wedding here and honestly I didn’t use any product the cut was so good.

I have been getting my hair cut here for two years now and can’t complain, the team are professional and efficient, there is a good vibe in the shop and they do very smart cuts and beard trims. I also take my 14 year old son and he is happy with his (trendier 🙂) cut. Good honest business.

Christian is a master barber. Perfect balance between a classic yet modern look, absolutely speechless. I couldn't stop smiling whilst getting my haircut, he was an absolute perfectionist and a gentleman. Thank you for fixing and styling my hair, my wife will be so happy 😊 never going anywhere else.

Wonderful people with amazing skills. No need to explain how you want things in minute detail, trust them and they will do a good job. My barber was Eric (Erik?) and he was excellent.

Had a great beard trim from Christian for a fair price compared to some of the other shops in the neighborhood. Walked in just before closing and was happy to stumble in here. Will be back for sure

Don't be put off by the small interior of this little barber shop. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

I received a great haircut from Pierre who was happy to incrementally adjust the length until it was just how I envisaged. In addition, the price was quite reasonable for a haircut and beard trim.

As an added bonus, they are open a little later than most barbers in the area, so if you're lucky you can probably squeeze in a cut on your way home from work!

I took my young son who isn't great at sitting still for a haircut. The barber was so patient and friendly and did a fantastic job. My husband loves coming here too. Highly recommend.

Great barbers in St Kilda I had the cut & deluxe shave package which was a bargain for $60 nearly what I’ve been paying for just my haircut in the city... the styling was done by Christian who I was extremely happy with. He’s very particular with his work I also was very impressed with the haircut and cut throat razor shave (very clean and smooth).
I am really fussy over my hair and after trying many other hairdressers in and around Melbourne I’m happy I’ve found a good barber local to me in Balaclava who I will be using regularly.

I keep leaving this place thinking that I need to write a review but today I couldn't ignore the urge any longer. I've been going here for about a year and have never had a haircut worse than what I'd describe as great. The barbers there listen, think about what they're doing and produce reliably excellent haircuts.

Just moved to area and have been looking for a local to give my hard earned cash, and I found it. Great spot! Would highly recommend Mr Carlisle Barbers. I was looked after by, forgot his name. He's from Canada. Good guy, if you're reading this I'm sorry man. I owe you a beer. Woke up early on a Saturday morning to be there when doors opened at 9am and was on my way home by 9:45am. Check them out!

Took my 5 year old nephew for a haircut this morning and not only did we get straight in for a cut, Pierre absolutely nailed the style which was completely different and much shorter than what he had previously. My nephew has not stopped smiling and talking about it all day, making sure he’s got the waxing technique down so it looks just like it did when it was done. Within half an hour of the cut at least 3 people we didn’t know on the street had commented on how sharp he looked!! We will definitely be back! Thanks Pierre!

Quick, easy and excellently priced compared to similar barbers (notably Kings of Domain). Pierre (my barber) showed great attention to detail and I didn’t feel uncomfortable asking for slight moderation towards end of the cut. Also scored a free sample UpperCut easy hold natural hold.

Great experience, with a super friendly hairdresser, absolutely no problems and super kind. standard haircut price in Carlisle at approx $35. Would have no problem coming back to a friendly conversation!
