Lucky us did get the seat without booking, service was awesome, super friendly. And the sushi was served fast, although they are busy. The hot food may take a little bit longer but not that bad.

It’s just and simply one of my favorite restaurant in Melbourne! The food is delicious, excellent! We had a small sushi platter, probably the best sushi I ever had in Melbourne so far.

The service is also the best, the personal is really nice and they will do anything for you to have the best experience you can in their amazing restaurant.

I more than recommend this place. You can blindly go there, you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience and such great service. A first time visitor and I'm already looking forward to returning. From the initial seating to the food selection and warm friendly service, this place is excellent. The bill was very reasonable and we left full. Recommended! 🐟😎🍣🍤🫘

Beautiful beautiful experience and food. The place has a very family owned feel because many of the staff have worked there for 10+ years and then owner has been the same from the beginning (about 30 years). It’s really impressive that the service and food quality have remained consistently high for so long. Went there a lot when I was younger and today went for the first time in 8 years. Fantastic food and service. Will be back!

Lovely Japanese restaurant with amazing tasty, fresh food, lovely service and ambience!. We always enjoy coming here, never rushed, if the table is booked after us, we get moved to the bar to finish our drinks, no problem at all.. Not get told we have to leave like another place rudely/ abruptly does in the area!... just beautiful people that accommodate you and make you feel welcome always!

I've eaten here many times before for the last decade and a bit, and will continue to do so. Misuzu's consistently has incredible quality food and some of the fastest and friendliest service I've ever experienced, by a significant margin. And they don't charge nearly as much as you'd expect for the privilege! Highly recommend.

Misuzu's is probably my favourite ‘authentic’ Japanese restaurant in Melbourne.

Food: Whether you’re an omnivore, pescatarian, vegetarian or vegan like myself these days, there are plenty of amazing dishes to choose from. All beautifully presented using only the freshest ingredients. Everything tastes amazing!
Atmosphere: This modest-sized venue has a variety of indoor and outdoor seating. There’s small 2 and 4-seater tables, as well as configurations for larger groups with tables seating up to 10-12 people (but you would need to book this well in advance). The décor and lighting really make this place. The outdoor lanterns in the tree is iconic for Misuzu's. There is a genuine hustle and bustle during those peak dining times (especially on the weekends and evenings). But it all seems to work really well. You can find a quiet corner or choose to dine on the quieter side of the venue if you’re a couple, or right amongst the energy and buzz of the main dining space, if you’re a bigger group.

Staff: The staff are a mixture of traditional Japanese and Australian. Regardless, everyone is genuinely friendly, helpful and professional. You’re sure to be attended to and served promptly. They’re quick to refill your glass of water, attend to any requests or enquiries and never too far away when your table needs clearing for the next course.
The food, the atmosphere and the staff are just so enjoyable to experience. I cannot recommend this venue enough.

It is a great place for Japanese food. Staff are very friendly. You have to try the eel. Never thought I would try it, but it was delicious. We ordered a second serving. Parking can be a bit tough to fond in the immediate vicinity. There are two entrances, one for the restaurant and one for pick-ups.

We had such a lovely time here. The food is delicious and reasonably priced and the staff are so lovely and kind! Beautiful restaurant and ambience. Would definitely come here again, highly recommend!

Delicious food, we tried lots of the entree meals. The duck pancakes and karage chicken were incredible! Great service and great wine, can’t wait to go back!

Another outstanding Japanese restaurant that has stood the test of time. This is obviously a result of their friendly, welcoming approach and the delicate flavours of their beautifully presented cuisine, which we too experienced during our visit.

First time here and finished the night having no doubt they deserved a 5 star.
Amazing team, from Shin over the bar greeting us with great sake suggestions whilst we wait for our table; Sarah's genuine attentive and great service; Adam was spot on with everything in between. Everyone were so informed with the offerings, they recommended with confidence.

I haven’t even eaten the food yet but nothing could ruin the experience I had here. The service was the best I’ve had in Melbourne so far, I was met with nothing but warm smiles and pleasantness. The waitstaff are up for a chat if it isn’t too busy and they are sure to leave you happier than when you walked in.

Outstanding service, they really know their wine. We enjoyed the scallop cevice, wahgu beef and the sushi and sashimi platter. Nice flavours, not outstanding but lovely all the same. Very personable experience.

Love this place - great for formal dining or a casual meal at the bar. Fabulous in summer with the outdoor seating and heaters if required. Love the sashimi and the specials always please the fussy eaters. From wagyu beef to seafood you can’t go wrong. If you are in Albert Park or anywhere looking for fabulous Japanese- don’t go past This place.
