Wow, what a find! We recently enjoyed a two night stay at this lovely caravan park. We scored one of the best powered sites with incredible beach views and to see the sunrise over this landscape from our motorhome bed was out of this world. Park staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The amenities were spacious and spotless. Thanks for the stay, we will definitely be back for a longer stay next time.😀 Images provided are the views from our site and the beach below.

Camped at Apex Caravan Park, Ulverstone for two nights. We have camped across the Nullarbor, South Australia, Victoria and a few places in Tasmania. Despite having been at Big4 and other private caravan parks, Apex for us, has been the best. Beautiful grass to pitch a tent, clean facilities, spic-and-span camp kitchen. To top it off, a close encounter with the penguins coming to shore at night. To add, Ulverstone has the best scallop pie, and we've sampled a few!

Beautiful, well maintained park, the managers are really lovely people. Saw a lot of little penguins. I would definitely recommend this caravan park to everyone. Well worth the price for a powered site. Very accommodating and peaceful park. Cheers Rose Gray

Very nice park with clean, well maintained amenities. Fantastic location with penguins close by. Recommend staying there especially in the area furthest away from the office. Staff very professional and friendly. Will definately stay there again. Thanks for an enjoyable stay. Cheers William

Our recent stay at the Apex Beachside Holiday Park in West Ulverstone was nothing short of spectacular. The parks elegant design, combined with it's excellent and spotlessly clean amenities generous size powered sites made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Angie and Pat the parks managers were always courteous approachable and available if needed. WiFi and mobile reception was excellent on both Telstra and Optus. Very highly recommend.

This park has been our absolute favourite in our Tassie travels! Donna’s welcoming customer service was amazing. Beautiful site with ocean views and sparkling clean amenities. We booked for one night and stayed for three. A fantastic place to base yourself for day trips in the area. We loved seeing the penguins at night. Sally provided some great advice for the rest of our journey. Such lovely people. Highly recommend!

Couldn't ask for more on the beach. We went to see the local penguins and they didn't disappoint. We had penguins around our tent. Our site was right next to the beach and had the most beautiful views. Very clean amenities block.

This caravan park has easily been a highlight of our time in Tasmania. We stayed at Picnic point which is a beautiful spot overlooking the beach. The facilities are all new, clean and very much well maintained. This is a really great spot to relax for a few days or as a base to explore the surrounding area. Sally and the other staff are so friendly and very helpful. 10/10 would recommend for anyone passing through. We will definitely be back soon.

Lovely campsite where the powered sites back right up onto the beach.

Showers cost $1 for hot water (you can get a coin from reception) with key access to toilets and showers, which are all kept in good condition.

The kitchen has a microwave, stovetop, toaster, fridge/freezer, and kettle but you'll need to supply your own pots and cutlery. Overall we had a great stay!

Arrived here at 07.10hrs straight from the Spirit of Tasmania. A warm welcome awaited us and we set up at picnic point with the sounds of the ocean just over the fence. Clean modern amenities, large flat grassy sites right next to the beach. So good that we came back for two further nights hoping to see penguins at dusk which we heard on our first visit

Stayed for nearly a fortnight in September 2017. One of the friendliest caravan parks we have stayed in any state, Australia wide. The managers, Sally and Glenn were fantastic. Could not be more helpful. The amenities were very good and I believe more new ones are being built very soon. We came to know some of the permanent residents and we were welcomed into their activities. It is a very well run park, friendly and peaceful. The camp kitchen and games room were very happy, social and warm (with a lovely wood heater) areas. It is right on the beach front, with easy access to the beach. There is an easy, scenic walking track to the centre of Ulverstone which we utilized several times. Lovely town with some of the friendliest people in Tasmania. Recommend this park to all mainlanders who come to Ulverstone. Thank you Sally and Glenn for a memorable and enjoyable stay. See you next year
