Bunya Creek Farm Stay

This was lovely. Very quiet and peaceful. Very clean and tidy. Maybe lacking in a few little details, like sml shampoo/condtioners, milk, bread in fridge etc. But then not everyone does this. Still a top notch place to stay. We did hv a problem with a rat in the kitchen each night but it is a farm stay and not sure how you would rectify this .

A stunning queenslander set amongst the padock and the rolling hills. The hosts have paid attention to detail, like allowing you to have a sunset bbq at the gazebo admiring the views. The amenities within the house is perfect. Highly recommend

Wow what a property. Quiet perfect peaceful

The place is beautiful except the sauna didn't work the whole time we were there and the internet was unusable as it was basically running on dial up speed which made it so we were unable to contact anyone as there was zero phone reception on the property aswell

TLDR: the host showed up unannounced and verbally abused my whole family and shoved my mother because he thought we left a gate open (which we absolutely DID NOT do.)
My family (my parents, myself, my siblings and our partners) stayed here for a few days to have a peaceful family reunion after we had been separated during all the border closures. We are all very mild mannered adults and just wanted a quiet place to reconnect and relax during this crazy time period. On our second last day, we were all playing a board game when the host pulled up (unannounced) and started letting himself into the yard and storming towards the house. My sister in law went out to greet him and he immediately started berating her. We could see that he looked super angry and she looked uncomfortable, and so we all went out to see what he was yelling about. He was very angry because the gate to the driveway was open (allegedly) and some of his cattle had escaped onto the road. The last people to go through that gate from our party were my Mum and Dad, who are adamant that they correctly closed and secured the gate, and we are used to gates like this as we have spent a lot of time on farms, so it was absolutely closed correctly.
The host was the most horrible and unreasonable person I’ve ever encountered, and would not allow us to discuss the incident because he just kept yelling at us, and stormed off the property without coming to any sort of resolution. My family and I were left shocked and very unhappy after this incident. The host kept telling us to pack up and leave right there and then, but would not offer any sort of refund if we did so. It was 6pm and about to rain, and it was a 2.5 hour drive for us to get home so we opted to stay until the morning but left pretty quickly because we felt very stressed. Absolutely horrible experience which put a huge dampener over what would have otherwise been a lovely peaceful stay. The only thing we could take from it is maybe he was trying to take our security bond or something, so if you stay here beware of the abusive host and take a pic every time you close the gate!
