Great Keppel (Wop-pa) Island

Absolutely beautiful! Really Cristal clear water, clean beaches and amazing snorkel spots. Also the people around the island were very welcoming and friendly! Would definitely recommend to add this destination to your bucket list :)

Beautiful gem- nice snorkelling. Can follow coastal path to shelving beach and monkey beach but can also go across the rocks if you have good balance and footwear. It’s an easy rock hopping experience but a few sections of dangerous oyster rocks, not a problem with good footwear

No facilities except on the main beach

It was a lovely quiet place after the resort closed. One of the few off the beaten tracks beaches left on the east coast. Now they are planing to build a new resort, a yacht club and reopen the airfield. Go there as long its good until the random drunk tourists local and foreign come to destroy another part of their childrens nature.

Wow! Did not expect such a beautiful place to roam like you're alone and yet there is heaps to see and do. Definitely one of the best places to visit. Comfy basic accommodations and great food at Hideaway. Great value.

As a Woppaburra man every day I visit Woppa is a great day and this day I gave a Traditional Welcome to people from the Singapore Government. It was a beautiful day to tell them about Woppa and watch them enjoy the island as I believe by telling the stories of Woppa this is one of the first steps in the healing process as with any illness it helps to tell someone

When in Qld,visit the Keppel

Its an island. You can but beer here. And very little tourists. You gotta like that

One of the places you can be totally by yourself in pure nature.

What else is there to say great spot must visit got to see this place for yourself.
