I always look forward to visiting Aqua grill if im in Tasmania. I couldnt get enough of their fish and chips(blue eye) their mushrooms tempura and scallops are my ultimate favorite!
Plus the view is giving a relax and calm vibes!
And they’re excellent in customer service!!!!!!

The seating area may be basic but it’s all you need to eat the delicious fish and chips! We always eat here when in Franklin and recommend it to everyone. Some of the best fish and chips in Tassie!

The MOST delicious battered fish I think I've ever had in Australia! The crispiest of batter! Potato and sweet potato cakes were super crispy and yum! Not oily or greasy

The Aqua Grill advertise as the "Best Fish and Chips" and they are!! Large portion of battered Flathead served with golden coloured chips. Wonderful lunch! Thank you.

Best Fish and Chips in Tassie. The chips are really crunchy yet soft. The flake is crispy and sweet and juicy, and the staff very friendly. Also licenced for alcohol. Would be a great place for a Christmas party out in the gardens. 10☆

Such a beautiful little spot to enjoy fish and chips, and the owner is so nice. They have a seperate fryer for gluten free batter as well.

We had lunch there today and my wife is a ceolac and everything on the menu could cooked Gluten free.......an outstanding restaurant.....thank you

Excellent fish and chips. Batter is perfect; not too oily. Service is fast and the portions are generous. Best tartare sauce ever. Great selection of Tassie beers and wine available also. Can't wait to come back.

The flathead is so delicious! I’d go so far to say that it’s the best flathead & chips you’ll get. Scallop, prawns & calamari all a stand out… but the flathead… wow, wow wow!

The fisheans basket beyond my expectation!! It includes butter fried of three scallops, three caramari, three shrimps, one barramundi and a decent protion of chips. Everything cooked and seasoned well. Highly recommend!!

I felt this place went downhill for a while and so I haven’t been for some time. But! It’s back to being great. Will definitely be popping in more now. Batter had a bad habit of falling off but I’m not even mad about it. And the tartare!!!

The food is out of this world! My wife and I got the fishermen’s basket, sweet potato cake, and a piece of Flathead and Blue Eye Trevalla. They make the tartar sauce in-house, and it is incredible. The view is beautiful as well. We sat out back by the lemon trees. Great stop on our trip to Tasmania.
