What a beautiful cafe in lovely old Franklin. Well worth a stop for beautifully cooked food.
The Turkish influence ticked my boxes.
We had Eggs Sucuklu which were cooked amazingly and served with some delicious and generous loaf of rosemary flavoured bread.
A lovely view from the Cafe too.
Make sure you look the cafe up and call in.

Lovely casual and tasty Turkish dining with a view to the immaculate kitchen on one side and a view to the river on the other. Great coffee. Beautiful caring friendly service. Olive bread with Turmeric and Cauliflower Dip - yummmm! Wish I lived here so I could be a regular.

Went to C and C today for an amazing lunch, my wife and I chose a different baked egg dish to try, mine had the Turkish sausage and my lunch date had the baked egg dish with the smoked beef. Both were amazing. The coffee was great. We weren’t able to eat dessert, so we took a cinnamon and cherry tart and a piece of apple cake. Awesome friendly service too. Definitely on our list of going back again soon.

We came across this cafe from its great Google reviews and wow, so glad we did. The decor is appealing, the café beautifully clean and the staff welcoming. The café is run by a Turkish family and, therefore, has strong Turkish influences with its food and drinks offerings. My husband and I both had baked eggs with sausage and a rosemary baked bread which was totally delicious. Would highly recommend.

Stopped on our way home to buy some treats. Delicious.
The stand out was the delicious pistachio ice cream in nougat wafers!
We will be definitely be going back.

Incredible quality brunch with a twist. Great friendly service. My new favourite brunch spot in Hobart surrounds. Definitely suited to lunch too.

Had the ‘Turkish Breakfast’ (vegetarian version) for $21 which seemed better value than most brunch spots considering the variety and quality of each item:

- Simit (Turkish style bagel) was served fresh and hot.
- Beans were so good, a really delicious vegetable stock sort of flavour comes through and the texture was perfect balance between thick and thin. Beans perfectly cooked.
- The fetta was so creamy, but light, and stronger flavoured than your standard fetta.
- Olives were special - not much meat on them but very strong flavour and extremely tender.
- Jam very unique (not standard jam, big chunks).
- Butter very yummy, more flavoursome than the usual.
- There were a few other things served with it such as nuts, salad and a sweet tahini paste all of which were yummy too.
- Beautiful presentation.

The coffee (turkish kahve) was also very nice. Served very hot. Ordered medium sweet and spot on.

I also ordered two tarts - white chocolate cream, and hazelnut. All delicious and melt in your mouth.

I ate with someone who had a lamb borek and they said it was lovely with a yummy tahini sauce. They also had a lemonade which they adored (picky lemonade drinker). Someone else had some sort of tomato egg dish with bread and they loved it - sorry forgot the name of it!

Really nice space too.

There’s also a few toilets out back (so many places I’ve visited in Tasmania seem to have only one!) and all very clean and new which is nice.

Will definitely be coming back here. Well done to the owners and staff for maintaining such a high standard at every level.

This is one of our all time favourite cafes in the Huon Valley. It’s such a happy place to visit and the food is delicious and beautifully presented.

It’s family friendly and we’re always warmly welcomed by the lovely family who run it.

A great place to stop for a coffee and a treat or a bigger Turkish breakfast or lunch.

Fantastic customer service, set up a table outside just for us. The food was delicious and so beautifully presented and the setting next to the herb garden was beautiful!

This restaurant/café is an absolute treasure. Everything is meticulously prepared with family pride.
The breakfast/lunch menu is filled the most appealing choices.
The Turkish influence in each of the dishes is what makes Cinnamon and Cherry unique.
Without a doubt the best dining experience on the Huon Valley.

Absolutely amazing! Food was simple but taste and presentation perfection!
The warm Turkish breads was unlike anything I've ever had and the variety of dips, simply amazing!
You can see and taste the freshness of all the food.

We were lucky enough to be there on a quiet day and had a chat to the owners and staff all lovely people.

Gifted with a small desert to try before leaving, it was the most refreshing little dessert ❣

Nothing to fault here!
What an amazing hidden gem. If you haven't been you must!

Thanks for an amazing Turkish experience

Stumbled across Cinnamon and Cherry at lunch time, and we were so so happy! Amazing food, beautiful view, and friendly people. Lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free (gf) options. We had the Meze and every one of the dishes we chose was fantastic. We also couldn't go past the cakes, including the GF vegan cinnamon cherry tart! So delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Oh my goodness!!! The Chocolate and Hazelnut Tart with Roasted Hazelnuts was a slice of heaven. Elegantly served with a red carnation I took my time to enjoy every little crumb.

There was a nice ritual around the serving of the accompanying Ihlamur tea (dried Linden flour, fresh apple and cinnamon).

The next time I come to this delightful cafe, I’ll come hungry so that I can taste more of what’s on offer.

I very rarely try new places but I am glad I did today!

Beautiful Turkish food with really passionate owners and staff. It was so great having the owners/chefs explaining all of the nuance of the dishes to the patrons.

I loved the spinach, caramalised onion and feta poached egg dish. The eggplant pide was really good and i loved the chicken on top. All very fresh and delicious.

All the mains were under $20 so it was a very affordable high quality lunch. The desserts looked mind blowingly amazing but we didn't try any today. The tasting trays also looked delicious.

Note the egg dish was half eaten before I got a photo.

A wonderful surprise between Hobart and Geeveston. Food was 10/10 and service was down to earth friendly. Come here! It's worth it💥😋💯

Fabulous Turkish food served in this trendy Cafe on the river. Unfortunately the coffee we had was quite weak despite asking for strong, but don't let that prevent you from trying for yourself!

Incredible lunch plates, beautifully presented. Food is obviously prepared with love and care from great ingredients. The dondurma (ice cream sandwich) is not to be missed as a dessert.

So glad we had a recommendation for C&C prior to our most recent trip to Tassie! And even more glad that our passing through Franklin coincided with their opening times! This place is an absolute must! The only problem I had with it was deciding what to have!

We had wonderful pie and salad each, and took with us a pastry/sweet bite for the evening - I chose the rhubarb and custard style pie and it was hands down among the best pastry I’ve ever had - maybe on a par with my granny’s mince pies - if you’ve never experienced those, let me tell you - that’s saying something!

The owners are a delightful darling couple/family and the wife was so lovely in explaining all the flavours to us, and hubby is just a jolly good character. I loved watching him bop away in the kitchen while prepping some food, what a cheerful chap, and it was clear to see that nothing was too much bother for either of them which made us feel so welcome.

It is a beautiful space, fresh and clean, and my only disappointment was on our way back through on the Monday it was closed! We had been warned of this but all the same I looked just in case! ;)

Can’t wait for our next Tasmanian adventures (as is always the case!) and I truly hope this is a place that stays, it’s a total oasis and I know if it were around the corner from us here in Brisbane, I would be going everyday! I really hope we can try the eggs next time for brekky.

Special mention for the incredible coffee - Turkish coffee was on the menu also and was just amazing according to my love.

Many thanks to you both for a beautiful pit stop experience in Franklin and all the best for your upcoming ventures.
