Eyes Wide Bay

Iv just had a massive cyst cut from the side of my eye. John Paul and the staff were so great with it. Making sure I was comfortable the whole time. My appointment was right on time and i was in and out in half an hour.

Very professional. Raelene Christ is so competent, knowledgeable and caring. I couldn't ask for better care. Support staff are first class. They manage an eye problem I've had for 35 years. My wife had a great cataract outcome. Well done to them all.

Totally impressed with most professional, thorough and efficient service. Had attended local ED department of Hervey Bay Hospital for removal of FO in right eye leading to severe discomfort. After spending 5 hrs, attended to by two Dr’s nothing found. Advised to use drops and cream provided. Pain and discomfort only increased, hence visit to Eyes Wide Bay who fitted me in for urgent treatment. Within 5 minutes ‘Mike’ found the object, removed same and instant relief. Amazing! Expertise, knowledge and professional outcomes. Highly recommended.

My appointment went very quickly and smoothly, so my driver didn't have to wait long at all. 5☆ for your punctuality. Keep up the great work.

So slow and lots of waiting. Rude and unprofessional with little assistance and help. No individual, personal help. Needs help with client care. Advise your driver to pick you up after many hours (5) wait. Lots of gossip behind the admin counter. They were rude and abusive to me and my driver. This was followed by a letter to me advising I am no longer welcome there. Stand up for your rights to be treated compassionately and kindly. This practice has many problems. Does not even rate a star.

You are not client friendly nor do you meet clients needs.
Gossiping at the counter needs to stop.
You need to help pensioners not ridicule them!!!

On arrival to my 6 year old daughters appointment I advised the office staff that I am medically exempted from wearing a mask as I am a chronic asthmatic, the office staff told me that I need to wear a mask, I explained again under the law I am exempted they refused my 6 year olds appointment because I would not put on a mask. They then asked if I was double vaccinated to be in the eye appointment surgery. then they cancelled my 6 year old from future appointment. They further went on to say in a written letter I was abusive because I said “ that’s none of their business’ . no voices were raised & there was no cussing but they accused me of being abusive. In society mask mandates is not a thing, but they require it in their surgery. they did not follow covid chef health ministers advice by allowing a medically exempted person in for the appointment. Staff were very rude, didn’t allow me to speak & followed me out the door yelling I would still have to pay for the appointment that they wouldn’t allow to go ahead. Professionally disgusting. Morally wrong & wrongfully discriminated myself & my child.
