Bakers Delight Maroubra

I love all the different varieties of bread at bakers delight Pacific Square Maroubra. especially the Cape Seed bread. The staff are always helpful and polite.

Thank you so much for baking an Almond log especially for my partner's birthday. I ordered the log a few days before and was told that one would be kept aside for me. On the day I called to say I would collect after 5pm, the lovely woman at Bakers delight told me she would bake a fresh one two hours before I was due to collect it and she did. It was so fresh and still warm when we got round to eating it. :-) Five star service thank you.

Always such friendly service, and love the tiger loaf. Thank you for the lovely chat with my lil Bub in tow - made a big difference to my day.

In my opinion, you can't beat their cheesymites and date scones!

I love the place and the variety here is just awesome and nobody can beat the price.

the workers are good

I have been coming here for years and years, being a local & the people are friendly. But, I have been a bit disappointed latety, that the products are getting smaller and the prices have gone up. Is it to do with Covid or CPI index? I don't mind that the products have gone up a bit, but when the price has gone up & the item has gone smaller, is it fair? I bought an Apple Danish - this is what I was given, although it was very tasty, it had 3 mangy, very small cubes of apples & none hidden under. To give you an idea, the Apple danish was 9cm x 10cm for $3.00. I usually spend $20.00 +.

Be aware purchasing any of their products on a Sunday. I recently did a comparison of this store and their Bondi Junction franchise and the same products a very different on Sundays. Finger buns which seem stale with crusty hard cream on top while the BJ store the bun is fresh & spongy and the cream is very soft. I have purchased at both stores around 8am so they really should be fresh. I raised this with Bakers Delight HO and their response was that the Maroubra franchise follows their guidelines and only sells freshly made product EVERY day. They obviously have not gone to the trouble of actually comparing the same product from both these stores on a Sunday morning. It makes me wonder how many of the other products sold on Sundays at this store is not freshly made that day.

The only BD that I’ve been to that needs all day to get all of their products ready. Lift your game to the standards of your other stores.
