Love this place. I shop here regularly. It feels like you’re achieving something by bringing your own containers and avoiding single use plastic. Staff are warm and friendly, the place is spotless and the prices are affordable. Recommended.

Absolutely wonderful shop. Has most kitchen dry goods you would need or want, at very good prices, and no plastic. Good processes for getting the food (paper bags, jars, etc), and very warm and knowledgeable staff.

I've been shopping here for years. Just amazing - excellent range and quality, but more affordable than most bulk food places. They're about really making a difference rather than virtue signalling.

One of the best bulk foods shop I've been to in Sydney. Amazing range, including many lines not stocked by other similar stores. The customer service is super friendly and helpful too. Prices are very reasonable. All round 5 stars

When I first noticed the Village Wholefoods store, I was excited to investigate. I began frequenting this store, but then I stopped going because of the grumpiness of one of the shop assistants. A few months later, I ventured in again when I couldn't see this person through the window anymore. With much relief, I met Jane, Kelly and Paul, who in my experience, have been so welcoming and friendly every single time. They remember my name, and they volunteer extra information about the products I'm considering purchasing. The owners of Village Wholefoods should applaud and reward these staff members for INVESTING in their customers. Jane, Kelly and Paul trully do embody the spirit of the store's name: They cultivate a VILLAGE feel by value -adding to my every shopping experience! LuLu Joy

It was my first time today and I kind of messed up weighing each of the jars I brought with me. The lady at the counter was very friendly and super helpful in figuring out the cost of everything. My pantry looks wonderful and I can’t wait to come back for other things. They have such a variety of stuff and the chocolate almonds are delicious!! Thanks again :)

One of the best places to shop bulk, always clean, staffed with great folks and the quality of spices I've bought here are especially top notch!!

Has pretty much everything you can think of loose. The sweets are delicious. Definitely worth a visit. Make a list of what you need. Bring some sealable bags, containers, stick some masking tape on the outside so you can write down what is in in when filling and pre-weigh them at the counter.

The only place where I purchase my Canadian maple syrup. Once you've tried it, you'll never go back to the supermarket varieties. Remember to bring your own bottle/jar, however they do have some to purchase in case you forget. While you're there, reward yourself with some carob coconut rough!

Village Wholefoods is the first bulk store I discovered and I absolutely love it! There is a wide range of products and I appreciate the helpful labels showing if a product is vegan, or listing the ingredients and its origins :) The staff are so friendly and super helpful and I love being able to reduce my waste by using my own containers. Highly recommend

This place taught our household that we didn’t need to spend a fortune to take care of the environment. Every time we go, we are surprised with how little we spend despite buying lots of items. There are usually more than one option for an item with a variety of prices (eg organic may be more expensive). The great variety of items has even encouraged us to eat healthier and try new ingredients we were not familiar with. Plus, the vibe in the place is great. Would absolutely recommend people to come and give it at least a few tries.

This is my favourite whole foods store. I go out of my way to get there for my weekly shop as other stores don't have the same personal touch of such friendly and committed owners. I've been going for about a year now and they have an ever increasing product range and the quality is top-notch. The staffs' knowledge of every product is excellent, I've never even written the product name down for them, they just know. My favourite feature is that they're happy to weigh-in your own containers whether they're half-full or empty. Not all stores seem to be able to get their heads around this for some reason but it makes keeping your waste down and getting the exact amount of product you require easy. They even have maple syrup in bulk! The prices are excellent compared to other whole foods stores and incomparable to shopping at the supermarket. P.S The sign on the door does not lie.

Love this place! Such an incredible selection and fantastic quality. Great that they have containers and jars availible too if you don't bring enough. Staff are friendly and patient with kids coming along for the shopping trip!

Awesome selection of foods to get from here. Just a reminder to new people that you can bring your own jars/canisters to be filled. I love the selection and often finds things here that I struggle to find from elsewhere. I will keep coming back for sure.

Great produce at a fare price. I love the large range of cleaning products, specially the dishwashing brushes and wipe cloths. Very friendly staff. Such a gorgeous local shop.
