InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, an IHG Hotel

Spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Ferocious storms both days so Lagoon closed. Dispointing but you can't help Mother Nature. Pool was just as lovely if not a bit busy. But we managed to score a cabana. Service at this hotel is spot on. Location is brilliant. We did a Christmas Eve present giving in our room with more than enough room for 7 adults and a child. Rooms are well appointed and five star touches. Food everywhere is delightful. Just am exceptional resort worth every penny to stay.

Kids had a great time swimming in the huge pool and loved waking up to kangaroos outside our room. Fantastic buffet breakfast and great food and drink options within the hotel. Complimentary golf cart pickup when you head out for dinner and drinks also a huge plus!

Excellent resort to relax although can be a bit hectic during school holidays with lots of children in the pools. The bar area at the pool serves excellent food and drinks and the staff in all areas of the resort are friendly and efficient. The room we stayed in was refurbished in Hamptons styling and was very refreshing and welcoming to come back to after a hot day in the sun. The resort facilities are excellent. Good bars, restaurant and 2 pool areas. One is set up like a beach pool.

The staff at reception was very welcoming and friendly. The food and cocktails at the beach lagoon club were amazing. My kids loved the pool and the jacuzzi. The buffet breakfast was great and everyone was very nice We would definitely come back

The BEST hotel and service I’ve experienced in all 14 years of living in Australia. The staff in both the hotel and conference centre at the Country Club were exceptional. I was here for 7 days and every day they exceeded my expectations. The view from my room looked out on to the Marina of beautiful boats/cruisers - stunning. Well located near the Marina Village that is 5 min walk away with great restaurants. My goal is to be back for leisure and to use the Country Club for future events of The Silva Method training! Better & Better!

my wife and I were lucky enough to stay here over the weekend for a work function. Great facilities, the lagoon is definitley the highlight. Location wise, its only a 5 minute walk to some great restaurants. Would definitley stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful location and the staff have all been amazing! Whether pool side, at breakfast, the Verandah bar or at the front desk they’ve been most accommodating. Rooms are spacious and loved the balcony too. Room service and room cleaning have been excellent. Cannot wait to come back! Thanks to Kate and her team!! 👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏

A beautiful resort, great service from all the staff. Stunning facilities and the rooms have everything you need. Comfy bed and great amenities. The outdoor spaces are top tier! Will definitely be back.

Great place, had our work party there.. affordable and lovely staff, Chloe Richards, Angelina and Carol did great service.
Fun for the kids too as there are kangaroos around feels like tropical paradise.. but little bit away from shops and stuff.

We’ve just returned to NZ having had an amazing week here. Beautiful location, building and grounds, comfortable and roomy rooms (even with a family of 4 in one room), amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was a holiday highlight for my children. We rarely return to places twice as there are always new places to explore, but we are already planning our next trip here.

The talented chef of Asian descent at the breakfast buffet is truly exceptional. On the first two days, I asked for a dairy-free scrambled egg due to my allergies. On the third day, with a long line of people waiting to order eggs, I held back from making the request. To my surprise, he handed me a dairy-free scrambled egg without me even asking. I was profoundly touched by this incredibly considerate gesture!

I had a wonderful stay at Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove. The room was well kept, modern and comfortable, with all the amenities required for a pleasant stay. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained.

Reception staff were very professional and polite, what’s more the room staff also greeted me when passing by, creating a feeling of a positive, friendly environment.

Overall everyone was friendly and highly professional. The only suggestion I have is to remind staff, or guest, on golf carts to slow down and be mindful of those walking down narrower walkways. Otherwise it was truly an exceptional stay.

Cultural events are alive & well on the Gold Coast. Lovely venue through Fever at the Grange Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove...candlelight and classical music lovely choice of pre & post concert venues too

Tylah gave myself and my colleague the best customer service when we decided to stay an extra night at this fantastic resort! She made it effortless and give us as gorgeous marina view room and organised a buggy for us. The customer service in general at the resort has been excellent. Thanks Tylah!!

Our 5 days stay was so good that we extended another day!!
From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out the service was so smooth, professional and friendly. We stayed in the Queenslander Suite with Marina Views. Very clean and comfortable. So happy to see Kangaroos in our garden everyday! :)

Our 5 days of buffet breakfast was awesome at the Cove Cafe. Love the selfmade fresh fruits juice, my favorite Morrocan Barramundi and Salmon. There are also English, Aussie, Asian, Continental selections as well. Staff were all friendly and attentive, Jude knows exactly how we liked our coffee!! The Chef knows how we liked our eggs too by the 2nd day!!

We had dinner at the Verandah Bar Restaurant, Jessica was an incredible waitress who took good care of us. We had the table by the window with great views of the fountain and pools. The Lamb Shank, Prawn and Mussel Linguine and Autumn Blast Cocktail was my favorite.

The Lagoon Beach Club, very good service, good cocktail and delicious food and friendly staff.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove. From the moment we checked in to checking out we received 5 star service all the way. Our Queenslander Suite was amazing, high tea delicious and drinks and canapés in the Club room a perfect way to start the evening. Staff were fabulous with a special shout out to Keith at Reception and the ladies in the Club Room. The pool area is meticulous and relaxing. Can’t rate the resort high enough. Thx so much for a memorable stay

As usual, all Intercontinental staff were accommodating and polite.

After returning to Sanctuary Cove from a previous visit in 2021, we found the Cove Cafe breakfast has a much-improved selection and quality.

The highlight of our stay was the degustation and wine pairing at the Fireside Restaurant. The table service person for our meal was most helpful, and she added value to a sumptuous dinner.

We intend to return to the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove very soon and extend our stay there.

So we had the unfortunate experience of flying QANTAS who sent our bags to Hobart instead of Sanctuary Cove.
That said the empathy from the staff at Sanctuary Cove was amazing. They provided us some of the basics that we didn't have and also a beautiful bottle of champagne too.
Aside from that just as an overall, the service levels were above anything i have experienced.
We will absoutely be back again very soon and thank you Intercontinental Team Sac\nctuary Cove, you guys and girls are simply amazing!!

An absolutely wonderful resort and amenities. Njce decent size rooms, well equipped and neatly furnished.
It is great for events such as weddings or a conference.
Rooms for meetings or lectures.
The lagoon is just perfect. The place has its marina.
Golf course and carts are there for you too.
The staff was nice and friendly.
Would definitely recommend it.
