Moothi Estate

I had a wonderful time at Moothi Estate. The wine tasting was informative and enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the views of the vineyard and the valley from the cellar door and the kitchen. The food was delicious and well-matched with the wines. I especially liked the cheese platter and the shiraz. I would highly recommend Moothi Estate to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience in Mudgee.

Wow! What a view! The wine and food was fantastic as well! Very dog friendly, we had both of our cavoodles with us, they were very welcomed and the staff gave them treats. We will definitely be back.

Great product knowledge too from the tall guy behind the bar ( sorry I didn’t get his name ). I actually learnt why I don’t like certain wine , it definitely makes sense now .

This is a must do in Mudgee, if only for the view over the Mudgee Valley. Start with the tasting a stay for lunch on the sun drenched deck. The local produce is on show in the Ploughman's Lunch with cheese from High Valley, local cured meats, olives and an assortment of bread, crackers and crispbreads.

Looks like a popular spot for folks having nice group lunches (lovely views). While we were only there for a walk in wine tasting, the service was super friendly. And lovely wines.

What a wonderful way to kick off a girls weekend in Mudgee. Whilst the rest of the girls enjoyed the superb wine 🍷 flights (best value in the region), the lovely lady (whose name i didn’t catch) organised a vegan platter for me as I was on a boot camp challenge. With the sun shining ☀ for the first time in weeks, the warm welcome from the team at Moothi set the perfect tone for a lovely weekend away.

We booked Moothi estate for lunch and we were not disappointed. The aspect is really nice and the food was terrific. We had the Antipasto platter ($45) and it was primarily Mudgee sourced, it's definitely a lunch for two hungry eaters. We shared the wine tasting ($8) and added the Shiraz voignier which was the best of the wines we tasted. Service was excellent and staff were very professional. Id like to try the burgers and fries on my next visit.

It has been our first winery in the city. As I have read some comments, before coming we've done a booking. We have had an amazing time there, and the antipasto board has been perfect for two. I've also tried the tasting wine.

Thank you for your hospitality during our visit. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly to our two and four legged visitors, we had an enjoyable visit.

The wine flight could be taken at leisure while enjoying the yummy platter and taking in the stunning views.

I had contacted by email while planning the visit to query the pet policy and was responded to promptly and positively.

Beautiful location less than 10 minutes from Mudgee town centre. Staff were very accomodating and altered one of the platters for my wife to enjoy as she is pregnant. $5 tasting flight was also great value.

Moothi Estate is set in one of the most beautiful spots in Mudgee! Overlooking a valley of vineyards, this beautiful cellar door welcomes you with friendly staff, restaurant and wines. The platters are made up of local products and are generous... the vibe here is more of a restaurant than a cellar door... it is a fantastic place to sit, relax, enjoy the food and taste some fantastic wine!
Ps: not part of the tasting, but the sparkling Shiraz is absolutely fantastic! Order a glass!

Amazing, new favourite spot in Mudgee.
The staff are always friendly, even tho we arrived late in the afternoon they still offered us a solution to our hungry bellies.
Absolutely beautiful wine, I absolutely Love the Sparkling Rose. I’ve now been back again… on another trip out west we detoured past just to pick up a bottle of Sparkling Rose.. superb

Shannon provides us with exceptional services. Great selection of wines for tasting at very cheap price. The view and the vibe here is awesome. Most locals recommend this place!
There are two very friendly dogs in the estate that bring us tremendous joy!

Everytime we go, we are very happy with service and food. This time was special because I bought my visitors from overseas to celebrate a special birthday and they thoroughly enjoyed the scenery, food and wine tasting. Thank you so much. See you again.

Randomly came across Moothi Estate and it was splendid!! As a start, it's high up, so has the best views over Mudgee and the valley! The share platter was one of the best we've had (very generous and well priced), and the staff were super friendly!! Love the sense of humour too (see photo's)...... Moothi, we'll be back for sure!!!

Beautiful vineyard, lovely wines and some of the best cheese I've ever had! Staff are friendly, the owner is awesome and their dogs are adorable!

We came here for lunch on the Friday before the June long weekend. The view is amazing as are the wines and Ploughman’s lunch. No wonder this place books out regularly; outstanding place to visit whilst in Mudgee.

Our favourite winery of our trip! Arrived just in time for the sun setting overlooking the vineyard. The couple who own this are the loveliest people, we felt so welcomed. If you come to Mudgee this is a must do! Also cute puppies to cuddle (bonus points!) can’t wait to visit again soon!
