We've dined in at Albee's Kitchen Campsie a few times, and I believe it's one of the most authentic Malaysian restaurants in Australia. The Mee Kolok and Sarawak Laksa really reminded me of home (similar soup base). They serve massive portions, so come here on an empty stomach to fill yourself up! Weekends are the busiest (no matter what time you go there), so you may have to wait for awhile. We love the robot that plays music and carries the food trays! It's so cute.

Food was very authentic and excellent, just like when I travelled in SE Asia.

The atmosphere could use some soft music or padded walls, as people’s conversations (and an extremely loud baby) reverberated.

Would come again.

Delicious food and quick service. Has a great selection of drinks too. The food seems way better than I remember it before the renovation.

The renovation also gives it authentic Malaysian vibes. Will definitely keep coming back!

Have been to the Kingsford venue and always really enjoyed it but hadn’t tried this one yet.
Great to see the consistency between restaurants, both serving authentic and delicious Malaysian dishes.
Nasi lemak was excellent, as was laksa and noodles, and everything else too really!
Basic service and noisy, hectic atmosphere so not really the kind of place you necessarily feel relaxed at but that was expected.
If you’re looking for a generous and authentic Malaysian dining experience, this place is hard to beat.

Such an amazing restaurant find. True blue Malaysian recipes and range of food and drinks.

First time finding proper proper Sarawak/Kuching laksa in Australia. This is the OG breakfast of champions in Kuching.

If you haven't tried Kuching Laksa, it's different from your usual laksas. A special broth that's prawn based with a unique spice blend that just hits so well. If you're a laksa fan, you've got to try this uniquely Malaysian Laksa (arguably the best kind of Laksa). This restaurant makes their broth exactly like what you'd find in the hawkers in Kuching.

Bak Kut Teh was the right herbal flavour profile of Malaysian BKT, but would benefit from being slightly stronger and with more tender pork ribs. Otherwise, still hits right if you're missing a classic Malaysian BKT.

Chilli Dry Pan Mee was amazingly good. Served with a soft yolk boiled egg, man you just can't go wrong.

They've also got an amazing range of classic Malaysian/Singapore drinks and desserts. It really feels like you're right in Malaysia.

Highly recommended for a good Malaysian fare.

If Zahid Hamidi's DNAA last week made you want to dissociate from Malaysia through and through - fret not, I have the perfect restaurant for you to get your patriotism back up. Corruption is no reason to stop devouring Malaysian food!

This restaurant offers decently varied options of Malaysian Chinese cuisine. The menu was an animated experience in and of itself. We ordered the Sarawak laksa, and the curry pan mee.

Political opinions aside, I thought the Sarawak laksa was pretty decent - the spice options were very authentic and fragrant, and the size of the prawns reminded me of the size of Najib's bank account at its peak - hefty!

The curry pan mee was quite good as well, we particularly appreciated how the noodles were hand pulled, and the curry was packed with umami flavours as well.

We also would definitely recommend dipping the pan mee chilli as well if you like a bit of spice in your dish. It was free but I'd be willing to pay for that authentic goodness.

Keep it up!

This recently renovated Malaysian restaurant offers exceptionally delicious food. The new shop is right next door to the old one, and the prices are very reasonable. I go there almost every lunchtime.

My third time visiting this place. The place is now spacious as they are already moving to a few doors down. This time I had the salmon fish head noodle soup, it was my favourite by far from the menu. The broth was flavourful and I am glad that I am having this. My mom has the Assam laksa, she said it was Ok, just missing the fish that Assam Laksa usually has.

Generous portions and are good value for money. Had the egg sauce combination rice noodle (horfun) and half a hainanese chicken - recommend both. So delicious! Also had the teh Tarik which was good albeit a little sweet

Amazing Malaysian food, massive portions and so tasty. I had the seafood laksa and there was two types of noodles and loads of seafood, I'm stuffed! If you aren't starving I recommend getting one dish between two and maybe a side or two.

I can see why it's so busy and all the locals seem to eat here which is always a good sign.

Authentic tasting Malaysian food with an amazingly large variety of dishes. Prices are affordable and the service was quick. Credit cards not accepted here so make sure you take some cash.

Just hard to describe how much I was surprised by a Malay restaurant I went in just because it has the same name with my friend. Everything fits what I imagine to have in Malay food. The taste is so rich and strong. The menu is also very various to cause my next visit. You just can’t stuff everything even thought you’d love. Definitely worth coming for a meal, better with friend so you could taste more at once.

Super food! My first experience to eat here! It's super experience. Pork ribs king is the best and the crispy egg noodle. 5 star experience! Would definitely come back! Anyway do reservation before you come! Otherwise it's full and hectic esp. During lunch and dinner time.

One of my favourite malay restaurants, the servings are massive and the food is tasty what else would you want. They have an extensive menu. I always enjoy the curry puffs.
