Figo Restaurant Bar

Have wanted to go since we moved to the area, and it did not disappoint! We were lucky enough to sit right by the friendly and fun chef, but all the tables seemed to have great atmosphere and feel (especially the outside ones). The food was wonderful, two of us thoroughly enjoyed the two fish dishes of the day, and the other two devoured generous portions of Wagyu. Thank you for the tailored wine pairings, thoroughly recommend Figo restaurant.

Oh my goodness. Unreal Italian food. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and made us dream of a trip to Italy.
The service was also really friendly and attentive.

We’d love to go back for dinner as it was quiet at lunch and I imagine it has a great vibe when bustling.

Great Italian food. Lunch menu was very tasty, filling, and well priced. Probably wouldn't order the Paccheri mare e tera again, but everything else was really delicious. Negroni was excellent too. Super accommodating tip top and yet relaxed service.

Food and chef is amazing. This was the most wonderful experience I have had in a long time.

I highly recommend the food and full wine pairing. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Wow such delicious authentic Italian food! I ordered the ravioli cacio e pepe and I cannot wait to be back. This dinner was such a memorable one.

Lovely restaurant, with fantastic hosts, service and food. We dined here for lunch on a Friday before heading to the airport and we’d thoroughly recommend it.

It’s just down the road from the main King’s Cross area, and consequently there was only one other table dining aside from us, so it was quiet at this time. I think if the restaurant was up on the main road, it would be super busy as it is excellent. But that means it should be easy to get lunch booking. I imagine it makes a great evening and weekend experience as well. Worth visiting.

I recently dined at Figo Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Our waiter, with a charming mustache, was exceptional. Highly recommended for both the cuisine and the outstanding service. Can't wait to return.

What a superb restaurant. Aside from the outstanding Italian food, the service and its elegant, subterranean dining room gives Figo its point of difference. The waiters and sommelier were warm and engaging, very happy to chat and very knowledgeable about food and wine. The team there works together seamlessly. The food was some of the best I've had in recent years; the cocktails and wine all fabulous. A lovely, inviting place and perfect for a special occasion.

Atmosphere was authentic Italian with fine dining standards. Service was excellent with friendly suggestions and warm demeanour. Food was honestly faultless with sophistication and thought throughout.

We visited this restaurant on their third day of trading, service was friendly and capable, I do really enjoy when the staff know their drinks and food.
The setting is very welcoming and cosy, it's a great venue for a couple night or an intimate friends dinner.

The menu itself is nicely not ginormous, few starters and entree and a clear selection of Italian pastas and a wonderful veal cotoletta on the bone. Server with a rocket, Parmesan and tomatoes salad, a classic.
The calamari where lightly fried,crispy and light, the tomato sauce was a nice touch .

The suggestion on the wine itself was to the point and I enjoyed drinking it. I would have loved more red options by the glass but that is just my opinion.

Overall this new restaurant have a solid and strong menu that allows you too have choices without getting overwhelmed.
It's not a cheap eat, but you can easily find pricier venues.

I'll surely be back in the future for that nice dinner that we can indulge in every now and then.

3 of us shared the ricotta, honey, black truffle with bread. Even with a light shaving of truffle the taste was dominant which was a great starter.

Next we ate the yellowfin tuna with ricotta. It was portioned well even with the 3 of us. I will be ordering that again.

The grilled Octopus tentacles were cooked perfectly. Absolutely stunning char that melted away in all of our mouths.

Next was the gnocchi. The interesting takeaway form this dish was the orange zest. I will be dancing with this element when I next cook gnocchi at home.

The seafood pasta was cooked just a splash past al dente. This was paired nicely with the textured of the cooked seafood. I however asked for some seasoning which elevated the flavours in this dish.

Last but far from not least was the squid ink tagliolini. Once seasoned this was the dish of the night. If I were eating alone and wanted Italian takeaway I would be capitalising on this. Bravo

I also have to commend the hospitality. All the way from entry to exit the staff were warming and felt really genuine on wanting us to enjoy our experience. I can't remember the name of the wine but I purchased a bottle of red that is made back in Italy by the chefs family. I asked to have it chilled and the waiter was very accommodating to do so. I recommend trying this.

Without doubt the best Italian food I’ve ever had. The chef is a genius, clever subtle flavour combinations delicately balanced and presented in a very non pretentious manner. We ate there twice in two days and the consistency was on point. The service from Vito was outstanding, the cocktails were amazing and the atmosphere was beautiful, we were seated downstairs on the couch in the corner so we could look over the room. Thanks so much for capping off our weeks holiday in Sydney. Do yourself a favour. Trust me you won’t be disappointed

The best bresaola I have had lately, not salty at all which was a plus for me, only that rich meat flavour! All pastas we got were so good. Lovely service from the team and aesthetic decor. Thank you very much.

Amazing gustatory experience with top notch character, trustworthy Italian sommelier pairings, wonderful tasting food, a charming atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Love this place 💝 we had such a great time. We Highly recommend the wagu and the gnocchi. The Amarone wine was Belissimo!!✨

Such a hidden gem in Potts Point. Outdoor seating on ground floor is very relaxing, but the dining area downstairs is just FANTASTIC!

Popped in here for dinner on our way home after a walk and boy am I glad they had room for us! They sat us quickly, were very attentive and that food! Wow! We had the bread, calamari, wagyu beef skewers, osso bucco ragu, broccolini and sticky date pudding. Every thing was fantastic with a special mention to the calamari, beef and pasta! The quality of the oil (that came with the bread) was fantastic and the wine was delicious too.
Well worth a visit - we are already planning our next date night back there. See you again soon!

I rate FIGO as one of the top 3 Italian restaurant experiences in Sydney right now, we were seated in the basement level very intimate dining experience, the food was done very well, cannot fault it. Very highly recommended.
