Creative Escapes

I attended the Iphoneography 101 Experience Workshop on Wed 21 August. As a small business owner in the hospitality industry I found the workshop content and facilitator (Karin Neate) fun, relative and concise, I left feeling confident about my newly tuned digital and social media skills! Christine & Cathy are wonderful warm hosts, with attention to detail in gorgeous surroundings followed up by great catering. Highly recommended!!

I recently spent a couple of days down the coast at Narrawallee as part of a Creative Escape and cannot recommend them highly enough. Cathy and Chris make you feel so comfortable and welcome. The accommodation is outstanding, the food amazing and on top of that I learnt a new skill with the IPhoneography class. I had so much fun and can’t wait to return to Narrawallee for the Photobook workshop.

Cathy & Christine are all over the finer points of creating a great weekend escape with nothing more to do than book and turn up! Such a great (and easy) option as a single woman to get away from work, fill my inspiration bucket with a creative workshop and relax on the south coast with some other escapees as well.
Love that it’s fully catered too!! No need to lug linen and cook - winning!

I recently spent a long weekend with a dear friend on a “Creative Escapes”. We travelled down Friday to be greeted by Chris at our lovely accommodation. Chris showed us around the house and the food left for us with a breakfast hamper including fresh bread, eggs, cereals, fruit, milk and a few chocolates. In the evening we were greeted by dinner being cooked by Cathy and delivered to our door. All we had to do was eat it and dish out our own dessert already left in the fridge.
Saturday was the “Spanish Cookery class” which was such fun learning new dishes and meeting new friends. The afternoon was our own followed by a light meal once again cooked and delivered by Cathy. We had a lazy Sunday before headed home via Milton to do a spot of shopping. What more do you need out if a weekend? Highly recommend doing one.

We had an amazing “escape” and were totally spoilt by Chris and Cathy. We attended the Spanish Cooking Class where we learnt to cook Paella and Crema Catalina, which was great fun, and even better was sitting down to a beautiful table to eat the spoils and drink sangria. Chris and Cathy make the whole experience a complete and total “escape” and we can’t wait to be “spoilt” again.

Definitely a 5* experience, from the warmth of the welcome, the fabulous morning tea, and fun photography workshop, all within the beautiful beachside village of Narrawallee. I did the Phoneography101 workshop, had lots of fun, and at last I feel I have more confidence in using all the options on my smartphone camera. The results speak for themselves!

I recently spent a weekend with friends at 'creative escapes'. The weekend included a paella cooking class with Eduardo. The whole experience was of high standard with immense detail and impeccable service. Highly recommend it! :)

A wonderful weekend away with good friends was made even more special by the attention to detail by Chris & Cathy. It is always the extra little touches, and these two ladies ensure you are looked after to a high standard - all that is left to do, is sit back and relax.

Thank you Chris and Cathy for a wonderful class with Brooke Munro. It was a pleasure to spend the morning with like minded people, learning a new craft and enjoying your warm hospitality.
