Where do I start? simply amazing and divine dining in experience from start to finish.
Every dish is worth taking photo ls for and they also went out of their way to cater for me with special non sashimi dishes. Really appreciate it.

This is my favourite restaurant in Sydney. Everytime I come to Sydney I try my best to go. I love their Wagyu on himalayan rock salt. A must have every time. Their fish in paper pot was amazing. The fish was very sweet. Restaurant is a must try!

Japanese fine dining with all the right flavours. The tuna sashimi, cooked fish, wagyu cooked on pink Himalayan salt rock, shabu shabu with wagyu, and dessert mochi this menu is dressed to impress and hits all the best flavours. Highly recommended for authentic Japanese in the heart of Sydney

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Sydney, I have dined here many times now, love their degustation menus and lunchtime bento boxes, super friendly staff, I always like taking my friends here and using their private rooms :D

Excellent Japanese.

Was here long ago and it hasn't changed, great food and service. Sashimi quality is excellent, the set with cod and Wagyu beef was very tasty. Tap beer was Sapporo and plenty of choices for saki. All in all a great meal, and would always return.

Excellent quality food and actually too much food in the set menu we had today. Would prefer smaller servings! (First time I've said this)

I love the layout which can make the dining experience feel private. Also a classy feel and outstanding service!!!

Also had utencils etc for a toddler. Lovely dining experience

This was the first time my partner and I had experienced fine dining Japanese. We had an amazing experience the food was great. A special thank you to our waiter Jerome who was educated in what he was serving and made our experience so pleasant. We highly recommend to everyone as a must try and will be back :)

Japanese at it's finest. As good as you can get. Stunning food and amazing service. Awesome bar. We had the Snow Crab menu. Entree Sashimi and wagu beef grilled at table and then sweat Snow Crab hot pot. Just a lovely place to dine in ambience without the hustle of fine dining but it is fine dining.

Plus the surprise birthday desert at the end topped off this amazing experience! Thank you to the amazing staff for their hospitality We will definitely be dining again!

Amazing food. The salmon teriyaki literally melted in our mouths and this is coming from a person who does not enjoy fish that much. The taste was amazing so we added a teriyaki chicken which was just as good. The sushi hit the roof in terms of textures and taste. So did the salad. Very good service as well. Well worth the visit even though prices are on a higher side.

We just had to Wagyu deluxe 7 course set tonight in the large private traditional Japanese style room. Amazing. Loved the experience, and special thanks to the young waitress that served us tonight who made it even more lovely. Will visit again.

I had an excellent experience from this restaurant. Staffs were polite and provided good services.
Especially they have a gluten free menu ! This is very helpful for those who are intolerant to gluten like myself. Because of their head chef, gluten free foods are prepared carefully. I did not have any problems from their food !
I ate sashimi, sushi and teriyaki sermon. All very delicious !
I appreciate their food and services !! Highly recommended !!

Great quality sashimi and sushi, down to the sushi rice. And wagyu beef was on par with very special salt grill, must experience!! On top of everything, service was perfect. Very attentive and friendly staff who definitely know what they're doing. I'll come back here again for sure.

This is by far our favorite Japanese restaurant in Sydney, only to be superseded by Tetsuya. My husband and I once came here three days in a row because we couldn’t stop thinking about the sweet miso (saikyou) cod. The wagyu BBQ is also sensational. I personally like how it’s more authentic than Tetsuya, with the staff all being Japanese and you get to experience a very Japanese service.

You'll get first class service here. Nabemono hotpot dish is quite papular here. The place is also good for birthday celebration, the store manager will serve you a surprised cake! How good is that!

Potentially the only and best shabu shabu in Sydney! Waygu on pink Himalayan salt also must try. Attentive and friendly service. And very nice finishing touch the manager/owner greeted us on the way out and gave us hands warmer to brave the cold.
Definitely will be back ! Thank you!

We had the omakase special course at Shiki served directly by Hyota Sugihara. One of the best sushi omakase Sydney has to offer right now. we had 12+ pieces of nigiri, cooked fish, sashimi, shabu shabu, desert and other small bites. Definately worth more than its price tag - would go again.

if your okay with spending good slab of money on sushi this is Sydney's finest dining experience for Japanese food. Their waitresses, especially Karoline are amazing and food is wow! Nothing beats Shiki!

Best Japanese in the city. Friendly staff, great original menu and stylish dining. Buy a bottle of their famous Shiki salad dressing when you leave. Be the envy of anyone who tries it.
