Glebe Point Diner

My wife and I visited Glebe Point Diner for Sunday Lunch this past week. My wife’s elderly parents were visiting from Country Victoria and we were looking for a quiet lunch destination.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the experience was 5 star. Even though the food was excellent (I had the Pork Belly and was lovely), the highlight for us was the attentive and friendly service. You struggle to find places in Sydney where the staff are both courteous, friendly and knowledgeable about their product and we will definitely be back. Thank you for looking after us.

Returning to the Glebe Diner after 8 months led to a delightful evening in warm summer outdoor seating. This was enhanced by the splendid ricotta gnocchi and the even more superb roasted Barramundi (which is to die for!). Our compliments to the chef and charming staff for an exquisite evening. Plenty of off-street parking. Highly recommended.

Glebe Point Diner is an absolute gem, with delightful service. I would go back just for a natter with the incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Excellent meals that are simple and done very well. The staff were all highly professional and friendly. The wine list is extensive with some excellent options. The gnocchi was so good - all 4 of us loved it. Nice comfortable interiors with a small balcony for outdoor seating and indoors has high ceilings.

Perfect for any occasion! We have always enjoyed our meals at GPD. It's hard when you want to highly recommend this place and still want to make sure we can book at any time. If you love food, wine and excellent service, this is the place. Thank you GPD for making our wedding anniversary dinner perfect. :)

I was first introduced to Glebe Point Dinner when my closest friend took me out for a birthday lunch in July. I have now been back another 4 times i loved it so much. The atmosphere is relaxing, feels a little sophisticated but at the same time really comfortable.

On Every occasion i have been there the team and service is amazing. They are all very professional and knowledgeable about the food and wines and friendly and warm with all their interactions. The food is absolutely delicious.

If i was a local in the area, i would definitely make this little gem a regular place to visit. To management and the team, thank you for another beautiful meal and time at your restaurant.

One of Australia‘s greats. The atmosphere and the people make this the place to enjoy fresh, super seasonal, home-inspired yet sophisticated food, and the fabulous drinks list is beautifully paired. A Sydney ‘go to’ - perfect for entertaining out of town guests, the cheeky drop-in for dinner at the bar, or better yet, hire the joint for a party. #fave

Wonderful food, relaxed atmosphere, great waitstaff.
The duck that I had was absolute perfection. The starters (crudo and some pickled beetroot thing) were both fantastic. One of my favourite places in Sydney.

One of the best dinners overalls I've had at a restaurant. Quiet on a Monday night but received excellent service, had a 3 course plus oysters. Really fresh oysters, and each of the dishes were some of the best. Interesting twists to things like the Tartare with the sauce but was incredible. The dessert was a special they had on the menu and my friend said "best dessert at a restaurant". Highly recommend Glebe Point Diner for an Inner West dinner.

Small, loud yet cosy, higher end restaurant. Excellent service and excellent food. Not cheap and not set up for kids - but if you’re looking to have a top dinner with adults, this is the place.

Absolutely stunning food. We had the 3 course dinner. The servings looked smaller but we were stuffed by the end of it. Highly recommended the fish of the day and the Angus tartare. Food was also beautiful to look at and servers knew exactly what wine to match the plates.

I very much recommend this place for a nice dinner, we were seated outside and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

If your after a quick ,in and out meal this is not the place l. The quailty was amazing and the waitress knowledge of the food was top knotch.our wine was expertly matched to our food order.not bad for a Tuesday night . Will def be back !

Fantastic high quality bistro dining at its best. Delicious and tasty contemporary food menu with a well selected wine list. Discrete and efficient customer service in a beautiful and intimate venue.

We heard good things about the restaurant and decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed. 3 course dinner for $75 per person, very reasonablely priced. Every dish was tasty, especially the prawn and my main, Barramundi dish. I was surprised how juicy the fish was. The only thing was the cocktail, the Americana, was not great. However, its my first time trying so it might due to my personal preference. We'll definitely go back.

What a joy this restaurant is. Easy to park, beautiful space. Proper table linen. Delightful cheerful service. The food was really good. Highly recommend the prawns with curry leaves.

Second time at Glebe Point Diner and it was as great as the first! I’ll be returning in the near future. The food is exceptional and as someone with a sensitivity to sound, it’s never an issue when the booking is early. Kudos, thank you, and see you soon.
