Lola Cocina Spanish Restaurant Potts Point

Will DEFINITELY go back for the paella. The food was amazing!! The "CHORIZO A LA SHERRY" is a bit oily but very well flavored (9.5/10). The "PULPO A LA PLANCHA" is slight salty but the octopus was cooked soooo well, the potatoes balanced the flavor (8.5/10). "Paella Mixta" is a MUST TRY, it was well seasoned, 10 out of 10. The crepe "FRIXUELOS DE ASTURIAS" was soooo good too, filled with chocolate (10/10). The ambiance was really cozy. The food came out in a short time, the waitress was nice but the waiter even nicer, very attentive, friendly and kind hearted.

Wow! Didn’t expect to like this place as much as we did! Such a good deal for 3 meat tapas, 3 seafood tapas, rice, salad and potatoes. We left extremely stuffed and beyond satisfied with the use of flavor in each dish. It was very well seasoned and had a small kick to some of the dishes. Definetly a must try for a casual night with friends. Service was also great!

Great service and very good food. The prawns were exceptional - beautifully succulent and juicy with such an intense garlic and chilli flavour. They were so good we had to order a second portion!

The red sangria was also excellent and such good value

The only disappointment was the pork belly, which was quite dry (although the crackling was great)

We were looking forward to our second visit to this restaurant. It blew us away with sensational food, service and drinks. Highly recommend this Spanish restaurant and we wish we didn’t live so far away or would be here more often on visits to Sydney

Really enjoyed dinner at Lola! I’m always hesitant when it comes to tapas, especially in Australia, where my experience is that it’s often overpriced and micro portions. Nevertheless, Lola bucked the trend and I hand a great time and enjoyed the food. The tapas was decent sized and delicious.

We stumbled across Lola Tapas Bar by accident & we are so glad we did!
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff & authentic smells coming from the kitchen.
The gentlemen who served us was patient, funny & really helpful.
When the food came out we were equally impressed. Delicious, generous and fairly priced servings!
I really can't fault them & can't wait to go back.

Zucchini flower was great. Paela was exceptional. Very satisfied dinner with good atmosphere. Will come again

Lovely place with super friendly staff, a small but nice selection of Spanish beers, some great Spanish wines, and lots and lots of cocktaila, all with a huge range of tapas. Bring some friends and try them all!

We really enjoyed our night at Lola Tapas Bar. We were warmly greeted and given friendly service. The food was delicious - an extensive choice of tapas on the menu. The grilled haloumi and seafood stew were our favourites - so much to choose from! Spanish wines, beers and cocktails along with standard drinks available. The atmosphere was warm and inviting .

One of the best and most authentic Spanish restaurants I've eaten at in Australia. I have been there a few times now and it has been consistently good. The prices of the tapas are very reasonable considering the quality and flavour. The seafood paella is hugely generous and took me back to the street food in Barcelona! All of this topped off with great service and a dynamic drinks menu. Well done Lola's you have been a great addition to Potts Point!

Stumbled upon this restaurant looking for a late Friday night dinner, and the food was delicious and came out quickly, service was great, and the music and ambience was really fun! Yummy tapas and slow cooked lamb.

It’s a place that will fills your stomach with yummy cuisine that does not break the bank while you fill your belly with laughs!!
Joe was prompt with his communication for my 13 ppl which ended up 10 ppl on the day which was no trouble..
We were the last to leave and we were not rushed either. We left when we realised it. Great food and hospitality. Thank you kindly for taking care of us joe and team 🙂

First time we tried this lovely cute little place and we had really great time:) First table and really we been only table in restaurant:) Venue just opened. Perfect timing for VIP quick service:) We tried so many tapas, so many delicious dishes. A bit of octopus, bit of lamb, bit of squid, bit of scallops, bit of pork belly, bit of sardines, bit of crapes :) Beautiful presentation, service and taste. Me and my family came here for my mums birthday and we loved every bit of it, the staff were super friendly and every bit of food was delicious (even the kids ate everything) we’ll definitely be back 🙂

I had mejillones a la marinera. A simple but delicious mussel soup with toasted bread. That paired with a tasty G&T made for a light and delicious meal. I would recommend this bar to anyone who wanders this way in Potts Point
