Ikhwan Cafe Sydney

Wow... what a great finding. Exact same taste of food like Malaysia. Their staffs are shy as typical Malaysian but attend to customer in friendly manner. Give a great attitude to explain on the menu.
I tried basic Nasi Remak, roti and chicken Satay. All good compare to other Malaysian restaurant in Sydney. Specially chicken satay was wonderful. Must try when you craving for Malaysian food. Thumbs up!!!

Excellent halal Malaysian restaurant the curry chicken is soft and tender the rendang is flavorful and I loved the fish curry and the best was the chick pea and eggplant veg. They also have kuihs all very reasonably priced my entire meal including kuih was $20.

We from Indonesia had been 5 days in Sydney, and of the agenda is trying halal culinary food in Sydney. Started from Uyghur Halal Noodle resto, Thai resto (Its Time for Thai), Arab cuisine, etc.

This Malaysian resto is consider as one of the best. In fact, for the mee goreng, roti canai, and teh tarik; we prefer this resto compare to the one we ate in Kampung Bahru atau nasi Kandar Pelita.

Incredible food at the pay as you wish buffet. Very delicious, flavorful and authentic. Highly recommend to try the beef lung + serunding if available. Other than that, I would not recommend the seri muka as it has a very weird odour when chewing it which is not very pleasant.

I got Nasi Goreng Cina for dine-in and Nasi Kebuli + Kopi O for takeaway. Everything was absolutely beautiful and authentic! And the price is also affordable. Will definitely come again!

OMG you must visit their PAY AS YOU WISH BUFFET every Sunday 11am-8pm. You eat as much as you want, and pay as much as you want!!! The foods were very nice, no wonder they are restaurant standard. They do offer vegan options, and all desserts there are vegan 👏👏💯

What an amazing restaurant, have been there on two occasions to eat Sunday buffet. The food is delicious with top class service. The choice of options tempts us to go there every weekends. Keep up the good work guys.

Fine Malaysian Halal restaurant in Sydney Darling Harbour area. Food quality and quantity is so good and rates are very reasonable as compared to other halal food restaurants. Soup and rice taste was exceptionally good. Ambience is just fine and staff is well mannered. Will definitely recommend to others for a good lunch or dinner with family or friends.

Delicious food and not expensive at all. Staff were super polite and friendly. Atmosphere is more like a cafe but don’t let that put you off, the food is amazing!

Great little spot in Pyrmont to enjoy authentic malaysian cuisine. The portion size are huge, staff are very polite, service is quick, prices are reasonable and the taste is 👌👌

My friend ordered me the pandan gula melaka cake. Omg. I'm mighty impressed - it was light and fluffy ... not too sweet and you can really taste the gula melaka and pandan which means they were very generous with the ingredients making the cake.. and the fresh cream oolalaa... delectable! Highly recommended. It was my first time trying the cake and I will recommend them to the highest bidders! 😃

Conveniently located 2 min away from Pyrmont Bay light rail station. Foods are delicious, halal and you can eat by hand. People are so friendly. There is buffet, eat as much as you can at the cost you want to pay. What a good deal!

Very authentic, delicious and beautifully made pineapple tarts, taste just like the peranakan ones that I grew up with in Singapore. Great for Chinese Lunar New Year celebration.

Took some googling to discover a business in Sydney that would make these tarts so am very glad to discover Ikhwan Cafe. Appreciate the baking skills as these tarts aren’t easy to get right at all.. and I also couldn’t find anyone else in Sydney who makes them. I think if advertising goes further to target more Malaysians and Singaporeans community here, would be a super big hit. A lot of people may not know it’s also called Tart Nenas, :) perhaps adding “Pineapple Tarts” as label and in any social media advertising messages would help a lot.

Ordering process through Sal was smooth and easy. Staff were friendly when we turned up and offered samples of other delicious cookies they made. Also served very authentic Teh Tarik tea :) Thank you very much

I was visiting from California for a week and strategically booked my hotel next to this gem. I had breakfast here every morning: beef, chicken, fish, rice, green beans and topped it off with some amazing desserts .... Yes, all that in each breakfast! The staff is super warm and friendly, the food is consistent, this place was a force multiplier on my trip. 😎

Went to do a take away for nasi lemak bungkus. They made it fresh when I ordered so it was still warm when we got home. Wanted to try their laksa penang too but dah habis! But the nasi lemak itself was so authentic. Reminds me of the nasi lemak that I used to buy from the roadside makcik. Highly recommended for a delicious and authentic malay dishes. The service was friendly too!

My wife and I plus my daughter and grandson just visited Ikhwan cafe for brunch today for the very first time.We arrived around noon and noticed the cafe was not full.We ordered mee bandung,mee goreng mamak,mee ladna,roti canai with beef curry for the sitdown brunch plus some takeways of nasi goreng pattaya and nasi goreng ayam special.Our drinks comprised of the cafe's special of air bandung cincau,teh tarik and teh tiga layer.
We were pleasantly surprised that all the food and drinks were really delicious and as authentic Malaysian food and drinks that you can get back home in Malaysia.The prices are also affordable considering the location in Pyrmont and the quality of the food.All in all a really pleasant and delicious eating experience.To add to this the staff were also pleasant anf friendly.
