Chish and Fips

Yummy hot fresh chips and fish. Thier homemade tartare sauce was delicious and very generous portions!

These guys are the best. My mates and I ordered a bunch of food, then when we went back to get extra because it was so good, then we got free extra chips! Also name is very cool

Been a customer here for over 20 years for a reason - the food is great. Best Tartar sauce we've had in Sydney (they refuse to give the recipe but state it's all in the mayo but I also taste the pickles and dill). The hot chips / fries are herbed and my personal favorite, the grilled baby octopus. The last time I ate here was the only time I had a bad meal at this place - they had added a tonne of dried chili and the meat was so tough it gave me a headache from the hard chewing. But that is one bad meal in 20 years. Consistently good. A little pricey, but considering the rents in Coogee it's a concession you pay. You never leave hungry, that's for sure. Though I do wish they made grilled mussels, too. If you want to buy grilled mussels, you have to go to Maroubra Junction which is several suburbs over. Highly recommended.

Chish and fips do the fibest fish and chips. The chish hear is so chishy and the fips are brilliantly fipsy. They serve perfect freep dyed dinnamon conuts, hasty totdogs and scrummy nicken chuggets. The chish comes either crattered or bumed and there is delicious steak and bikcen stergers. They have a range of chish from manish spackeral to pring kawns.

Overall its a easy 5 stars.

They didn't have potato scallops, but the guy told me where I can get them. So even though I didn't eat here today, they get 5 stars.

Great coffee, best burgers and great service. Oh, and it looks straight at the ocean. Heaven has nothing compared to this place :)
