I had a 12 day stay at Gymea and pool, jacuzi and the whole retreatment and its surrounding nature is beautiful. The staff are super friendly and it is a very pleasent family atmosphere. I hope I can return one day to this beautiful place.

My mind is stuck on the moment when I found myself, supported by a pool noodle, floating in the healing waters of the Gymea pool, surrounded by bush. Calm, happy and comfortable (‘twas a 36C day) overlooking the sacred mountain that created the whole of the Northern Rivers. In a deep state of bliss.

That moment was so good that I can hardly recall the amazing food, beautiful grounds, friendly welcome and super clean and comfy room (why does my house never look that clean?)

A magic spot for deep work ... I totally recommend it.

Amazingly fabulous experience!! Two hours of steam/sauna/spa/plunge pool luxury was followed by the most amazing scrub & coconut wrap. Utter bliss!! I have never relaxed so deeply as that heavenly cocoon of delightful oily nurturing warmth allowed. A transformative experience not to be missed.

I attended a resilience leadership retreat/workshop at Gymea last weekend - it was the perfect location for me - it felt like I was in a tropical paradise, deeply embedded in nature - the combination of the workshop and Gymea was perfect - the spacious magnesium pool easily accommodated all of us, 30 people, and was a godsend in view of the mid 30s temperatures, as well as providing a great balance with the indoor/outdoor workshop sessions - Thanks Gymea for a great weekend away from the busyness of my daily life into peace and inspiration - Geoffrey

Having been here a few times I now think of the Gymea spa as my own little patch of paradise tucked away near Uki. Firstly, the little valley it sits in is stunningly beautiful, peaceful, quiet and the perfect spot for a bit of self-love and pampering! The circuit of the sauna, steam room, plunge pool and spa always leaves me feeling like I've been cleaned from the indie out. And THEN.... well then there comes a lady with magical hands that gives a massage that has me floating out the front door at the end of it all. The word bliss I think gets a bit overused these days, but seriously... this place is pure bliss!

Go there. Just go there!

Myself and a friend were delighted to enjoy a 2-hour sauna and spa at Gymea recently.

Even arriving at the resort was an experience in itself. As we entered the lush 50 acre property and descended into the rainforest I could feel the tensions and stresses begin to fall away. By the time I had parked the car and taken a few deep breaths of fresh clean air I was fully present and relaxed and ready to succumb to the luxurious, penetrating heat.

The welcome was warm, as warm as the sauna we were about to discover.
We were shown around the facility and were soon stripping down to our bathers.

This modern facility includes a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and cold plunge pool. These may to be used in any order or for any length of time. The steam room was my absolute favourite right along with the built in shower to rinse off with if you get too hot.

Fresh water and tea was provided to help ensure adequate levels of hydration.

In addition there is a massage and facial service available and post sauna my friend enjoyed a 30 minute facial for which we had pre-booked that she thoroughly enjoyed.
She emerged radiant and glowing. Some pamper for the princess :-)

Thank you Stephen, Sonia and Natasha for a wonderful, relaxing afternoon.

Exceptional venue for holding retreats. I love the fully sustainable aspect of it with purely rainwater use, solar power, Tesla charging station, chemical free organic cotton sheets and much more. And the energy in this place is off the chart!

About Uki
Village in Australia

Uki is a village situated near Mount Warning in the Tweed Valley of far northern New South Wales, Australia in the Tweed Shire. At the 2011 census, Uki had a population of 765 people. Its name may have come from an aboriginal word for "small water plant with a yellow flower and edible root". The name UKI was actually derived from the limber mills in the area. Prime timber for export was marked UK 1, as in timber destined for the United Kingdom - grade 1. Hence UK1, which colloquially named the township UKI. source
