Metro Theatre

Great music venue, not a glamourous location. But does a great job presenting the live bands at their best. Would definitely go again!

Went to see a concert there (Aterciopelados). The space is really awesome as it's divided in long balconies so everyone can see pretty well the scene. Drinks were affordable and staff was quite chill. Security/staff let us in with food (cheesecake from Tetsu) on the promise we put it in consignment in their fridges (paid $5 for it). I appreciate they trusted us to do that and didn't follow us and all.

I have had the opportunity to go to many gigs at The Metro over the years. It’s a Sydney Icon.
The venue has a max capacity of approx 1000. Mostly the audio and lighting is very well done. Has a great atmosphere and staff are well trained. The management do a great job and work professionally. A much appreciated venue. 🙏🏼

Metro is amazing to watch some shows and to enjoy a good beer around the cbd. The town hall station is just a few meters away.

Wonderful audio engineering brings this place to life, even the pre recording mix used between performances.

Amazing venue and staff. Had the pleasure of working an event there. Smoothly run team that look after patrons so well. Accessibility was also best from any venue I've worked. Security are polite and respectful. Management look after their team. Venue was clean and well run. Great job

Great live music venue.... Excellent stage view from anywhere in the venue.
Large bar with plenty of staff so queues move quickly.
1200 head capacity leaves enough room to move.

Could do with a few more toilets but otherwise the best live music venue in Sydney.

Saw The Middle Kids last night there. The venue was actually quite nice and clean compared to a few other places we've been in the city. Great theatre setting, bar was good and staff was friendly and helpful

Cool venue in the centre of the city, easy to access by public transport. Some good beers in the bar and great acts. Great to see the the continued recovery of live music in Sydney.

Love this venue. Small enough to be intimate, but big enough to have awesome crowd energy. Makes you feel like you're seeing the band just before they make it big.

Great venue its not so big so any position has good view. Sound was a not as loud as I would like, I had a walk around and couldn't find a sweet spot. Maybe it was the band or their sound guy?

Great, intimate Concert venue in the heart of Sydney

Such an amazing experience, the staff at the Metro were absolutely incredible. We required seating at the concert we attended and the service was amazing, from the intial phone call to organise our seat option and when at the venue and being directed to where we needed to go. We were incredibly grateful how accomodating they were.

Great venue, perfect for the Rudimental gig. Intimate but still a good vibe. Quick and efficient bar service.

Always happy when my favourite bands play here. Has always been my most favourite venue in Sydney. Fantiastic sound.
