Chesson Lodge

We had a family gathering at Chesson Lodge and were delighted at the space, every detail has been thought of and catered for! The decor is very elaborate and luxurious, with so many works of art. There are lots of pieces from local artists and artisans which was lovely to see, locals supporting locals! The beds were really comfortable, everything was perfectly functional and I was really impressed with the wheelchair access, even the pool is set up for wheelchairs. The owners were really helpful and lovely to deal with. If you’re thinking of staying here, definitely go for it!

Had such a lovely long weekend at Chesson Lodge. Eight of us stayed and had ample room for everything. Definitely the best equipped kitchen we have ever stayed in. Bedrooms great and all with aircon. Outside area and pool lovely as well.

Gary and Louise were very helpful and responsive.

The Lodge has multiple spaces and nooks for solo activities, heated board games and late night disco dancing.

We booked Chesson Lodge for my wedding for family and friends to stay in. The lodge is immaculate, the owners were wonderfully communicative and very friendly. They tolerated our multiple date changes throughout covid and were a breeze to deal with. The Lodge is gorgeous and everyone raved about it. Thank you Louise! We will definitely be back!

Stunning. It's spacious and so beautifully decorated and furnished. You feel enclosed in your own little sanctuary in the forest. I loved having a walk along the street stopping into all the little cute shops. But mostly I just feel like if I could live there forever, I might also know happiness for the rest of my life. Devine.

Wow. This cottage is amazing. As soon as you step inside you are blown away with the decor and quirkiness of the home (and it feels like a home). We used this home for my daughters bridal party to get ready for her big day. The front enclosed verandah area with good light was used by the makeup artist and hair stylist to prepare the girls. The photographer (photos still to come) was overwhelmed with locations inside the house for the pre-wedding photos. There is a large galley style kitchen and lovely verandah and pool deck area at the back of the house. Whilst we didn't go for a swim, we used this area for the morning after the wedding to hold a breakfast for the wedding guests before they started the long trips home. Added bonus is the close proximity of some lovely village shops, 2 amazing cafes and the local pub which is in walking distance. The owner of the home was 100% accessible when we had a few questions. I highly recommend this accommodation.
