This amazing store in Uki handmade tools and antique a blacksmith workshop out the back. Met the owner Brendon a true craft man, everything from pot-bellied stoves,repair and restore leather work and handmade knives

Purchased a knife made from recycled materials in a village in I believe Vietnam for a very reasonable price. Have used daily for about 2 months now and absolutely love it. Lives on a rack next to German and Japanese knives worth five times the price that no longer get used. Friendly service also, can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in the area.

Village in Australia

Uki is a village situated near Mount Warning in the Tweed Valley of far northern New South Wales, Australia in the Tweed Shire. At the 2011 census, Uki had a population of 765 people. Its name may have come from an aboriginal word for "small water plant with a yellow flower and edible root". The name UKI was actually derived from the limber mills in the area. Prime timber for export was marked UK 1, as in timber destined for the United Kingdom - grade 1. Hence UK1, which colloquially named the township UKI. source
