I love the food at this place. Seriously, one of the tastiest Chinese stir fried noodle places i've found in Sydney. You get to choose your spiciness and numbness level. You can also choose to eat rice with your stir-fry. It's one of the places i keep coming back to. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Sichuan style stir-fried. One negative point tho, is that the food quality is slightly inconsistent. Sometimes the stir-fry is more or less salty or spicy although i chose the same level of spiciness.

Great for a late night feed but do bring a group; their bowl will outmaster your appetite if you don't bring backup. As a design-your-own recipe, you can combine all your favourite elements of chinese stir fry without cooking yourself :D

The hot pot is really good. Large portion size. My partner and I spent around 50 dollars and ordered 3 meat dish 5 veggie dish and 2 rice. Only finished around half of the food. The only drawback about this place is that it’s a bit small and kitchen is not separated from the dining area so the smoke from the kitchen is a bit strong. But other than that really love the food.

This place is our go too for a decent dry pot (mala xiang guo) in Sydney, they are generous with their portions for ingredients and also very quick service.

Staff are not so attentive but honestly you come here for thr food along, set across the chinatown pedestrian street. Gives off a nice sense of street food vibes. You can choose spicyness and numbness level. Schezuan peppers (we usually go medium for both).

You are presented with a sheet where you tick off the ingredients you want and they will prepare them in the stir fry.

A must try!

Best dry malatang in town. Big portion also. Price somehow pricy but it was worth it. You can also adjust the spiciness and the numbness.

First time try in 2014 when going stead with my missus and she took me here to train my spicy and numb palate.
Ever since than we would eat in once a while and been a regular since than. It is the first choice if we really are lazy to cook or just wanna grab some warm food, especially winter.
Soon we found sometimes the spicy pot is not consistence as sometimes it is indeed not very flavouring.
We later found out that if one of the chef is not around, the food quality would drop. So, whenever we wanna dine in, we would peep into the kitchen if the Bald guy chef is around or not. The Bald guy chef do most of the cooking and soon enough every time we come we would request the Bald guy chef to cook our pot, until he even recognise us lol ! He tune the spicy and peppercorn almost perfectly as customer request.
It’s pick and choose affordable tasty menu where u pick your own choice of meat or veggie. Minimum 5 choices to pick and it will comes with loads of dried chillies. They even throw in lots of garlic which makes the flavour matching up with the peppercorn.
It’s a good place to drop by if you fancy really hot, numb and spicy food and a cold beer to go with it.
And don’t forget to request for the Bald guy chef to do your pot, he is the best among the rest!

My partner and I had the dry hotpot for dinner. The food was really yummy, tasty, and we really enjoyed it! We were surprised by the generous portions as well! We have enough leftovers for two people. Will definitely be coming back.

You might have missed this new resturant in the big line up of resturants nearby, but for lovers of chilli/hot food this is the place to be ! The set up is simple, a menu is handed to you where you select the type of foods you want in your stir fry and the level of chilliness. you need to order a minimum of 5 ingredients and a few minutes later, the most tasty chilli stirfry is on your table. I love the fact I can customize and the food is delicious ! But it only works if you like chilli food because the non-hot version is pretty plain and not worth the money, also they have very large servings in this resturant so be prepared. Also ordered their tofu side dish which is very yum (this side dish is not chilli at all )

Really delicious place. Recommend the 皮蛋豆腐, jellyfish, cut noodles, and, of course, the pork and chives dumplings.

Service was reasonable and the prices are very competitive.
