Pho Gia Long

Would usually go to the other more popular Vietnamese restaurant in Flemington but because it was so busy on the day we visited, we decided to to give Pho Gia Long a try and we have not been back to the other one!

They do a really nice pho ga (chicken) and crab meat noodle soup. There are plenty of other options too to try and will definitely give them a go too.

Has to be one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants outside of Bankstown/Cabra. Reasonably priced too and not too expensive even in 2023.

Gia Hoi opened up very recently offering 20% discount. They've renovated the place creating a restaurant that is fresh with strong air con! It's the only restaurant to have a clean toilet in Flemington. Same quality service you get at the Canley Vale and City branches. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and it was delicious.

Perfect pho recently had and the staff there is really nice. Large size of food with fair price. Definitely recommend👍🏻

Had a great time here, would come again to try more of the shakes! The meat was nicely done!

We are regulars here as the food is consistently good and extremely well priced, as well as friendly service. We pay cash to avoid the 1.5% card surcharge.
Edit: This place has changed ownership and is nowhere near as good. Two of our four family members were very ill later that evening. Will not eat there again.

This is the only place that does Bun Mam, aka Bun Nuoc Leo, aka fermented fish soup noodle: a unique fusion of Cambodia and vietnamese flavours.

Has authentically vietnamese menu.

What a gem! All the food is delicious and authentic, the drinks are quite nice too, I really like the custard apple shake, it's sweet and creamy. Can't fault any of the food, we've tried combination rice, combination pho, crispy chicken udon, fried chicken egg noodle, combination vermicelli salad. All had great flavour and freshness. I've never been to a place where every dish is consistently delicious. Customer service was the best. So accommodating for people in wheelchairs and for parents with babies. Fast service even when there's only one person serving. (They get really busy during lunch, so there might be a wait but definitely worth it.) Prices are reasonable and portions are big.

Solid Vietnamese food. Can’t complain: their salt and pepper pork with rice is to die for, though some people might feel that it’s too salty.

Update since change of management, the Phó has decreased in quality and flavour. The broth was a little more on the bland side. The spicy noodle soup was similar in that the broth was less flavourful and the pork blood jelly left much to be desired. The noodles were soggy in both bowls. The service was still nice and speedy, the Vietnamese iced coffee was good and the avocado shake was also tasty. Overall a pretty drastic drop in quality.

Quick service, great food and decent prices. The spring rolls appeared pre-heated but we're still crunchy and served very quick!

Great place . Delicious

Been going here for the best pho in Sydney for the past decade. Has changed hands a few times, but always had great soup. Getting a little pricey now with combination beef soup at $16 - $17, but still very generous servings. Normally would have to queue for a table at lunch time. Go early or late if you mind waiting. (before 11:30am, or after 1:45pm). Use your NSW voucher dining here.

Probably the best Bun Bo Hue from all the Gia Ho restaurants out there! Generous portions as well and the service was amazing. The manager greeted every single customer that walked through the door and also took the time to banter with them.

Very friendly but most of all food is very nice and price is good. Plenty of table so always see available.

Great food, good price, nice coffee

Longtime not have a special beef noodle soup. Due to covid and lockdown. This afternoon i have a great lunch with my partner 😄 love a service and the foods.

Used to go here when I was in high school 10 years ago and revisited just yesterday. I can see why they are still open and busy.

Combination pho, chicken laksa and fried rice were absolutely beautiful.

My favourite place for pho at this moment. And most probably the laksa also.

Quick service. My favourite is the fresh prawn and pork rice paper rolls with the dipping sauce (ask for chilli if you like spicy). Beef noodle soup (pho) is a popular dish too.
