Had a couple of beers unfortunately no meal a chef was ill
Not a problem
Kept well entertained by Bar maid Tan

What an asset you are to your establishment
Traveling around this wonderful country you meet the best and the worst

Hope chef is on the mend soon

Looking at the menu and knowing she does it solo

From one chef to another I take my hat off to her

Perhaps those who have left negative reviews in the past might take this into account next time they post

We went to celebrate my husband becoming an Australian citizen. Open rustic atmosphere with beautiful beer garden out the back. They also have an intimate function room with private bar. They are also in the process of working on some accommodation. Should be ready in around 6 months time.

Great aircon in a heatwave, great facilities & lush beer garden, wait staff super lovely....especially Sophie & Jess on Tuesday night. We had a great time!

My husband myself and our son attended The Queensland Hotel in August 2023 for a private function. We had lunch on the Saturday and the food was that good we stayed and had dinner that night as well.

The staff were very accommodating and very helpful.

The food was 10/10 couldn’t fault anything from the price to the time it took to cook to even the presentation and then the taste. Honestly can not rave enough on how good it was.

Another thing that made me highly impressed was that there was an actual change table in the ladies for little ones. As a first time mum with an 8week old baby when i had travelled 5.5hrs to attend the function i was highly impressed to find a clean decent change table. Not only was there something for the mums, on the bench in the bathroom there was santitry items and hair spray so incase of an emergency they had you covered, now you don’t see that every day!

Anyway hats off to the Manager of the Hotel and I cant wait to return again soon.

The Queensland pub is in the heart of town so great location. I went here for a meal and was very pleased with my steak and salad. The steak was very tender and tasty. The dining room is large and air conditioned(a lot to be said for that out here).
I would gladly go here again.

I just want to say what a pleasure Tania is. pretty sure that's her name. I can't remember the last time I had some one serve me that was so polite and helpful. Food was great, venue was clean amd all the other staff are helpful and polite. Thank you for a great meal and making my day. A must for all guests in my opinion.

Great meals family friendly awesome place to pull up friendly staff

Staff didn't seem like they wanted out of towners in there. Not a great atmosphere to have a relax in after driving all day. Maybe some staff that either want to work or are half interested to have new people in.

We ate here. Top menu and great friendly service. Allowed the dog in the beer garden. An easy walk from just about any spot in Goondi. We stopped at the Jolly Swagman. Good beer and wine. Great food.

Definitely get yourself a meal here. I had the 500gm rump and it was like butter. One of the most tender steaks I've had. Good beer selection as well. Good atmosphere and plenty of activities to participate in during the week. Music, trivia etc

Food is fantastic. Get an additional side of veggies. They are fantastic, real food, not that frozen stuff other places serve.

Food was brilliant....had rump based on reviews & it was bang in. Best meal & well priced. One very happy husband!

Highly recommended for a meal. Ordered the 250g rump with salad and chips. Great chips, fresh fresh salad and best steak I have ever had. Absolutely moovellous 🐮😅.

Great pub in town with reasonably priced meals. We had the 250gr rump with chips and salad which was tasty. The beer garden is also dog friendly.

We have stayed here for work for 2 weeks now, the publicans are absolute legends. The food is on point every time. It's situated perfectly at the middle of town. The staff are friendly and give you the great country feel a pub in Australia should offer. The accommodation is basic but cheap enough you can't complain. HIGHLY RECCOMEND this pub as your first spot to have a beer if your visiting 🤙
