Goondiwindi Regional Visitor Information Centre

Great centre. Clean, modern and air-conditioned. Well informed and helpful staff. Got recommended and went on the cotton farm discovery tour. Fantastic 4 hour journey. Well worthwhile. Walked along the river, which was not far from the centre.

So lovely and friendly. Great tourist information place. Toilets. Wheelchair accessible. Little Goondiwindi magnets and post cards and lots of information on the region and surrounding areas. Well worth a pop in

The library is amazing! Kids area is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so lovely. It’s a shame they only have limited First 5 Forever programs.

The Information Centre is well displayed.

The lady is super friendly and helpful. She showed us everything on the map. Also library inside. Would love to apply for rural library card. Also some local sculptures displayed

Very nice centre, with the library and old council chamber, within the same building. Council chamber very nicely presented. Lovely memorabilia on the wonderful horse Gunsynd. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff member helped us to plan our day. Clean toilets.

Goondiwindi Visitor's Information Centre is located in the Goondiwindi Regional Civic Centre at 100 Marshall Street (in the heart of town). Coach and caravan parking and entry to the information centre is also available at the rear of the centre at 45 Bowen Street.

The friendly volunteers assistted us with information on all the activities in the region plus information on many other towns we were curious about visiting or might like to see on our travels. We got a copy of the Goondiwindi Visitors Guide to help us.

The visitor information centre has all the usual maps, information about local events and tourist attractions, as well as local craft and historic photos on display.

HOWEVER... Located in the same complex (Goondiwindi Regional civic centre), you will find the Gunsynd Museum and Rodeo Memorabilla Display, Art Gallery and the Library. So we actually spent several hours looking around the free displays.

The toilet facilities in this complex are the cleanest and nicest smelling I have ever visited in a public place.
