La Strand Hair and Body

Have been coming to Amy for about a year now. First time I came in I have no confidence and was looking to finally do something for myself after having a baby. Not only did Amy fix my orange patchy hair, but everyone in the shop makes you feel welcome. No one made me feel bad about the state of my hair or how it/I looked.
I would also say the price is cheap for everything I had done. Have finally found a good hair dresser instead of jumping from shop to shop! Thanks guys!

The place is beautiful, the professionalism is top tier, and the customer service is warm, friendly and welcoming. I had Mel do my hair tonight, first time visiting this place and I can’t recommend it enough. I had anxiety getting my hair done as I was going for a very big change and I didn’t know wether I would walk out with anything close to what I was asking for but I left with my expectations being exceeded and I can’t thank you guys enough.

My previous hairdresser moved and I couldn't get there anymore. I tried another hairdresser and was disappointed. I was scared about going to yet another hair dresser but managed to find La Strand and when I went in to book an appointment the lady at the front desk welcomed me and was very friendly.
I made an appointment with Verity as my hair looked terrible but she did a magnificent job. She did exactly what I wanted and when I walked out and I said I was very happy about three times I was so pleased with her the way she cut and styled my hair.
I have made another appointment and I am so pleased that I have found my forever hairdresser.
The salon is clean, very friendly and I had a great expedience. Thank you and a special thank you to Verity.

I called the salon to book and I ended up talking about what I wanted for my hair. The lady on the phone said they are booked out for a while but to pop in so they can see my hair.
I'm so glad I did! I popped in the next day and started talking to Erin about my goals. I had bleached it, put red in it-you name it, it was in my hair. I said I want to go back to my natural colour and chop HEAPS off so that it was a messy lob. It was pure luck that she had a cancellation that day and I cam back later the same day for a restyle cut and all over colour.
The experience was great. I had minimal regrowth but Erin found my colour so quickly. She was really quick with applying the all over colour. The shampoo and conditioner smelled great!
My hair is a little shorter than I imagined but I did say as short as possible and as close to a lob to get rid of the dead. I said that I want it to look good with my mixed 2a - 2c waves because I don't style.

The cut looks BEST with my natural hair compared to straightened or curled. I'm absolutely stoked at the results. Thanks Erin! I will definitely be back

Be going to La Strand Hair and Body since they opened, definitely the best salon I’ve ever been to. I decided it was time for a hair colour change as I’ve always been blonde/grey . I can’t thank Mel enough for the amazing transformation on my hair . I’m over the moon at the results and the compliments I’ve received in the past 24 hours has been incredible so if you are looking for that over and above experience this is the salon for you . All the ladies are so welcoming x

Erin did an amazing job with my hair, gave me the colour I asked for, recommended a treatment and other products to help my hair at home. My hair turned out better than expected.
Di is an absolute godsend, helped me out with my little one while I got my hair washed and blow dried

Went there for the first time today and they were amazing! I had Katie cut my hair and she listened, cut and styled it amazingly.

I was really nervous to have my hair coloured here after my long time hairdresser closed her salon. Katie did an excellent job on the cut and absolutely smashed the colour work out of the park. It was exactly the same as I was used to. The staff were friendly, the salon was clean. I will definitely be back for my next colour. Thanks Katie 🌻

Lovely salon . Always looks clean and the ladies are always amazing. Friendly and helpful. Amy has been doing my hair and I’m really happy with it. She is helpful, listens to what I’m after and is only to willing to accommodate! All in all I highly recommend. All the ladies are lovely

I would 100% recommend La Strand to all of my friends and family. Amy made me feel soo comfortable on my first visit after a string of bad experiences elsewhere. She gave me advice on a cut based on my hair type, what bangs would work with my glasses and showed me how to style it. Even gave me recommendations on fixing my colour without it feeling like she was selling me something, and was lovely to chat to as well. I went back to my car and cried because I'd never felt so confident with my hair, or so relaxed and heard in a salon. Thank you so much Amy for your help!!!

Went to go to my usual hairdresser only to see they had a price increase so I decided to shop around. I was so impressed by the transparency of the pricing on La Strands website and the ease of booking online!

This place is such good value for money! Amy did such a good job. Im not usually a fan of getting my haircut especially when hairdressers charge through the roof for a basic cut but now I'm thinking about going more often!

This is by far the very best salon you can visit. The staff are very friendly and very professional. The pricing is very reasonable. Above all though is the way they make you feel as a client, important and special. Mel, Erin and all of the staff are just wonderful
