High Cross Randwick by Sydney Lodges

Very friendly staff. We felt very at home in our King room and enjoyed our meals on the balcony over looking the park. Bed was very comfortable and our room had plenty of space for our active 3 year old. We stayed here when we were in Sydney for my sons Autism assessment and it was so close by.

I absolutely love this place! We’ve stayed here multiple times for concerts/festivals - It’s such good value for money, everything is clean, rooms are a good size and service is spot on!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking in this area! Super close to light rail, good food in the pub right next door and not too far from the city.

The High Cross Sydney Lodges was a home away from home.
Centrally located, clean, affordable, well insulated, super comfortable and had all the amenities one could need and want.
I found the system from booking online, the follow-up confirmation, thru to the after-hours check-in went without an issue.
The internal lodge was well-lit at night and I felt secure, as a single woman travelling solo and enjoyed the keyless entry easier to navigate.
I would definitely be booking my next stay in High Cross when in town, you have access to shops, dining and public transport at the door and not to forget close to Coogee Beach.

This place was amazing! check in was super easy.
Location was perfect, close to all public transport.
Clean and the rooms were warm and cosy and surprisingly quiet! (thankfully, I am a light sleeper)

Very close to light rail, the beach and a pub. Also plenty of food choices within close proximity. Rooms clean and extra services like a kitchen are very helpful if needed.

A great place to stay if you need to be close to the Sydney Children's or Prince of Wales Hospital. Very clean and ultra close to the hospital. Easy access to shops and restaurants & a pub close by for a great counter meal

Lovely Location. Clean room, comfy bed. Close to Light rail, cinema, restaurants, parking can be an issue but Wilson parking nearby.

Brilliant stay, friendly beautiful abf accommodating. 5 min walk from the hospital and was easy and hassle free to book a last minute room and late check in.

We loved our stay- perfect location! Attended a wedding 10 mins up the road and stayed an extra night- loved the proximity to The Spot, local cafes and restaurants and Coogee Beach! Staff were great, check in easy and we were even able to park on premises! Staffed hours were just a little shorter than usual but no problem for us. Room had everything needed, very clean and bed was super comfy, good air con. Staff were also super helpful with applying the Stay NSW voucher when booking. Value for money was great- the best budget option I found when booking quite close to the date. Building is lovely and very aesthetic: I’m sure we will be back!

I’ve visited Sydney many times but this was my first stay in Randwick. The property is perfectly located, very close to light rail, local cafes and bars, UNSW, Randwick Racecourse, and not far from the beach. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed was on the firmer side, but I prefer this over too soft. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We checked in late and this was no problem with easy access via a lockbox. We found free street parking nearby, there are a mix of timed zones but it wasn’t too hard to find the right spot. We had a great trip and will definitely be back.

It was by far the cheapest hotel I could find when traveling to Sydney. The reviews were great, particularly for solo travellers, so I booked High Cross Randwick. The room is looks very high end, the beds are comfortable and the shower was great. The whole building looks lovely and I like the "town house" feel it has, yet it feels inviting and comfortable. The staff, particular Chantelle, was very friendly and couldnt help you more.

The location is perfect with being only 15 minutes from the beach and Coogee to Bondi coastal wall. 2 minutes from the tram, supermarket and other shops, restaurants and cafes. There is also a cinema around the corner for those rainy days.

The microwave and washing facilities came in handy for my 3 week stay too, only $3 for a wash load.

We loved staying at the High Cross Randwick! My parents used to book High Cross when I was growing up because it was a beautiful, convenient & affordable stay. It hasn’t changed a bit; it’s gotten better! We were arriving outside reception hours & the staff made it so easy + convenient for us. The entire process was seamless. The room was clean, tidy & beautifully decorated. We would recommend this place to anyone we know. Thank you for having us!

A wonderful stay. No disturbances. Felt like a very streamlined process to check in and out for the customers: a patient and wonderful person at the check-in counter. I should have asked for his name. My credit card didn't work on the first few tries (but it worked eventually). So, I got distracted. He checked me in on 31st Jan around 2.30 pm. Maybe Sydney Lodges can reply to my feedback and mention his name. Thanks for the time at Randwick. I may book the lodge again in the future.

The stay with Sydney Lodges was all we could’ve asked for. With days full of travel and seeing as much of the city as we could, it was always the best feeling to return back to the hotel which quickly felt like home. The staff were lovely and always helpful with communication even before we arrived. The room was beautiful, clean and modern and the exterior of the building was charming with a real Sydney feel. Not to mention the beds which were the most comfortable I have ever come across in any accommodation ever!
It was easy to organise a twin bed room, and late arrival making the stay seamless.

Proximity to local cafes, restaurants and public transport made this place a great holiday destination.
Still can’t believe it was such an easy walk down to Coogee! Beautiful place where you get the best of both worlds.

I throughly enjoyed my stay at The High Cross. The hotel was well situated. The decor was lovely. I thought the building was done so nicely. It was very true to all the previous reviews. The person calling me to give me information on check in and check out was very helpful. The bed was very comfortable. It had everything I needed except an iron. The bathroom was spacious. I had a wonderful time and I will definitely be staying there again.

The location was perfect for UNSW, where I was attending a conference. The room was well equipped, clean, and comfortable, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Very good value.

The room was a nice size, the bed very comfortable. Very clean and presentable. The gentleman at reception was very pleasant and helped an older gent nicely before serving me, and his manners were excellent. The lodge is in great location close public transport hub which is a bonus.

My partner and I stayed at the High Cross in Randwick over the weekend to visit some friends in Sydney. We had flown into Sydney airport and found the transport to High Cross incredibly easy using train and light rail. We were welcomed by the lovely lobby staff upon arrival at about midday and were quickly checked-in to our freshly clean room and given a detailed brief of the property itself. All of the room amenities were in great condition and the location was perfect to either shoot out for dinner at the Spot in Randwick or jump straight on the light rail and into the city, even with the wet weather! We will definitely be back again in the near future as regulars at High Cross, and highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney :)
