Blencoe Falls Camping Area

Got a nice spot right next to river. Saw more wildlife than people. Peaceful, no mbl service so suited us. No amenities except 2 modern long drops spaced out among site. Had open camp set up ie; slept on back of 4wd with dome over top with removable walls but meant anything could wander through and they did. Family of possums visited, not together; one at a time throughout the night & after food, thank goodness all was locked up. Too cute. Wanted pics of the baby but ph was flat. Drive to area takes about over 1hr (wasnt timing) from Bruce Hway, Kennedy turn off, . Road windy narrow, rough. Not suitable for caravans. We loved it!!!!

Camped, camp fire was well used, was like winter in November ❄ nice and cool.... plenty of spots to settle into to camp and/or swim. A drive to the lookout is a must.

Great place to go camping we love it plenty of swimming holes and good 4wdriving.

Just drove past as it was quite full & crowded, but such a lovely area though & a wonderful drive up from Kennedy in my Mercedes 4x4 motorhome just took my time steady steady & enjoyed the drive. Be best to camp during the week non school holidays or especially not long weekends.

One of the best waterfalls in Queensland, no doubt. Quite a tricky section to get down to the areas where the best photos are taken but definitely worth the effort. The waterfall is massive with smaller ones further down the mountain providing for breathtaking views.

Stunning place in the world. It's a good 2-3 hour drive from Cardwell and in some places you wouldn't get there without 4WD. I have an X-Trail and was fine. The falls are something special. The gorge tops it off. It's an unknown treasure in the region, so check it out! Camping is right on the creek with grassy, shady sites. It's a bit of a drive, but worth it

Beautiful campsite with good facilities

Fantastic place to camp, good to see all visitors take their rubbish away, beautiful clean countryside to see!

A pine forest haven in a world of scrub. Worth the drive.

Remote with few other travellers, road to the west just been graded
