Launceston Airport

As far as airports go this was a comfortable experience. Clean facilities, shops, food and drink. Comfortable seating areas.

Clean and fast service through security.

We use the app to check in and arrive an hour early for check in baggage which is pretty quick. However, don’t rely on our review, we still recommend getting arrive to check in luggage as needed.

Security has been upgraded. So be prepared to take your belt off, and your jackets. Then you will need to follow the security guards instructions. Stand and arms up.

Finding seats is pretty generous, if not, head down to the terminal. There is a cafe downstairs but I have never seen it open. So if you’re after a bite or drink, I would suggest purchasing upstairs.

Downstairs is pretty quiet and there is a lot of seating.

A beautiful and small spot that is well run with top shops. Easy place to stay and hang out at.

Small but clean airport. It's just that there's not much option for foods here if you're hungry when you are arriving.

Bike riders can walk off the plane, unpack the bike box, and reassemble your bike at the front door.

Seamless check-in experience just before Christmas during holiday peak hour. This is a small airport but staff are friendly. There was even live music and elves floating around to bring the Christmas cheer!

The new screening and check in is awesome. Better than the big airports. Makes you feel safer when xray and and new personal screnning

The food was great. Smallest airport I have been to, but the food was exceptional.

NEW body scanners are great, no more taking off my shoes because of my 'metal' knees.

Really impressed with Launceston Airport. Had a seamless check in, the airport was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Loved the local range at the Launceston Store, and really enjoyed our meal and drinks at the restaurant/bar. Great for a small regional airport.

Logan behind the bar was very helpful and friendly.prompt service, he also assisted with photos of our friends and ourselves. Very happy 😊

Pick up passenger. Plenty of parking. Even though plane delayed by 20 minutes due to late take off I was still within the no payment time limit.

The Launceston airport has always been a nice experience for us. Lots of variety with food and drink, comfortable seating, and many charging stations.

Small and efficient with good shuttle to the CBD, and can still can do some last minute shopping.
