Had an heirloom - very heavy, solid Blackwood wall unit to move from Warrnambool to a country town in WA. This meant pick up from my house, stored in Warrnambool. Moved to storage in Melbourne until full load the. Transfer to WA. The unit was transferred within the month and arrived without a dint or problem.
All the workers were professional and careful.

I moved a partial household from Melbourne. Thompson's gave a fixed quote based on my emailed description plus photographs of the major items.

The movers arrived on time in Melbourne and delivered on time in Warrnambool .. having held the load for the couple of days needed for me to finish up in Melbourne, and settle in in Warrnambool.

The sole caveat is that the movers dismantled my bed but didn't reconstruct it upon delivery .. but that isn't enough to drop the 5 star recommendation.

I made contact with Josh in the office and booked our local relocation. Josh was excellent to deal with and made a quick turn around happen.
Steve and Robbie arrived at our pick up address and were absolute LEGENDS!
They stacked our whole household into their truck and delivered it all to our new address.
They unloaded everything into the right parts of the house (including a fridge and two heavy sofa beds to upstairs areas) with an absolute minimum of stress or fuss, and just made things work!

Not a single thing was damaged in the slightest.

I honestly could not have expected anything more...they were amazing and I could not recommend them highly enough.

If you have a move coming up, you can totally trust Thompsons to get the job done with total professionalism and precision.
If you're lucky enough, you might even get Steve and Robbie on the job for you...total legends!

From the first phone conversation with Leah, it was obvious that Thompson's were going to make the interstate re-location process very manageable. The whole experience provided by Corey, who was overseeing the move, and Jack at 'pick up' was excellent. They went about loading in an organised and methodical manner. They worked through the process efficiently, taking care with all items as they packed. This was a great relief because there were some 'fragile' items to be loaded. The care they took with a very large screen TV, sound equipment and antique furniture was much appreciated. At the delivery stage, Corey was once again competent and professional in the way he did the 'unload' as he was assisted by James. The whole experience provided by the team at Thompson's certainly provided a stress free move. Would thoroughly recommend!

Best Removalist I have ever used.
After they picked my stuff up from Geelong I checked the receipt and noticed 2 things were missing off there. I called up John , he amended the receipt straight away. A week later my stuff arrived in Perth. I had received everything in perfect condition including those missed items. I really didn’t need to purchase the insurance, but I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry. I can’t thank Thompson enough . And the Removalist themselves were great and friendly . Thankyou soo much. 10/10
