Great bunch of guys that look after it have a ball every time crossing the ferry I make then it feels like a fairy

Get over it. The Murray that is. Whenever traversing the Riverlands look for these quick, free and funny boat rides without getting out of your car. A sure fire winning move if you've never been over a ferry.. .

Came here as I was told a ferry is still in use. I was awed when i saw it, the kids were just as amazed as i was. The ferry easily fits the 9 seater family van. Kids were allowed to get out and have a look over the sides, however my daughter had trouble wheeling around on the boat and almost lost grip. Workers were frindly. Enjoyable time x.

Great ferry service to a nice quiet town and great community club serving a wide variety of food and drink. Good public park including small caravan park available on the waterfront near the ferry.

Surrounded by natural Australian Bushland, it's definitely a beautiful spot to camp by the River.

You can book in for Caravan Stay, a well maintained park with BBQ, with toilet facilities, fenced childrens playground.

Perfect location, Family Friendly, dogs are allowed but must be on leash.

Boat Ramp, swimming platoons located in the area.

There are numerous camping sites in the area on both sides of the ferry.

Fantastic Location under 3 hour travel from Adelaide.

You country people are so lucky to have a ferry like this and especially being free. The man that operates it seemed like a real friendly guy, although we never spoke to him he had a big smile and wave. If I am ever up in the riverland again I will definitely use the ferry again.

Friendly Ferryman, however locals push and shove to try and get off first. Nearly causing an accident over taking us after we disembarked.

Short wait to ride the ferry across. Such a beautiful day and change of pace to get from A to B. Love that there are options like this still to enjoy. Not just for the kids
