Daisy Pool Covers

Very happy with the new cover and the service provided. I chose to have the cover cut to measure and it fits very well with no changes. Quick service, was here within a week. I did phone customer service as it looked like the courier might delay delivery. They followed up and phoned twice to ensure I had received it. Looking forward to many years of use.

If waited ~ 9 months to do a review as I wanted to see how the pool cover performed. I have a small W3m x L5m x D1.7m pool and our ideal temp is 32C. I live on the Gold Coast and the pool is in full sunshine most of the day.

Before Pool Cover:
1. Evaporation - pool top up was required a few times a week. It was so much, that I thought I had a leak.
2. Heating: Pool would loose 2-4C overnight, depending on the weather, and we would need to put the roof solar for a few hours +/- each day to get it back up to temp. Winter temps would be between 18C & 20C.
3. Season Length: For a warm pool of ~ 32c usually between late Sept to late March. Early / Late season would require consistent days of sunshine and running the roof solar for multiple hours to get up to temp. The pool would loose 2C - 4C overnight depending on the temp.

With Solar Cover:
1. Evaporation: - hardly any. Rarely have to top up the pool.
2. Heating: It is easy to maintain the 32C and depending on the weather (rain / cloud / cool days) it would not lose much warmth overnight or over a few days - 0.5C - 1C depending on the temp. In summer (mid nov - mid march), except for the odd boost after a few days of rain / cloud / cool temps roof solar is not required to maintain 32C and in the shoulder season it can be maintained with a reduced use of the roof solar.
3. Season Length: season length is a bit longer - it hard to get up to 32C in winter, early autumn and late fall, but maintaining mid 20's+ is doable with the aid of roof solar - compared to 18-20C without cover.
3. Ease of Use: We use the pool everyday, and with a smallish pool, without the roller, it is easy to take off and put back on.

We went into the main showroom in Welshpool as we wanted to see the different cover types and also speak to someone. By luck we were served by Shannon and he was exceptional. Without his help and guideance we would not have been as confident in which cover we brought.

The team that came out to fit the cover were also very professional and did a brilliant job.

The pool cover and roller from Daisy was quickly delivered after our online order.
It was easy to install with very good instructions.
We bought it mainly to heat our pool and it does that very effectively as well as stopping evaporation, although the kids splashing still means we lose a lot. :) I would recommend to anyone.

Measuring and ordering process was easy after watching the detailed video instructions. Pool cover and roller was delivered as promised and easy to put together and install. Works a charm at catching leaves etc and warming up the pool. Would definitely recommend.

We were very happy with the pricing of the cover and roller as we had quotes from others that were almost twice the price.
The service was excellent and delivery was prompt although the attachment cords were missing. this was rectified with a phone call and the cords arrived quickly thereafter.
All in all, a good "value-for-money" product.

Bought both the cover and roller. Delivery was quick and had the cover on in no time. Does a great job keeping the leaves out and little to no evaporation of the pool water. Quality materials used in their product which I am sure will last for years. Very happy.

Having recently visited your Welshpool office to purchase a UTC001 foot for my 20yr old Daisy roller, I was greeted by a helpful lady who I had previously spoken to on the phone. She was serving me, when Derek politely interrupted and advised the foot that I was purchasing would not fit my ancient roller. Derek proceeded to explain the reasons why, then offered an alternative solution, plus explained in detail how to do the job. The tasked proved easy, which is saying something as my DIY skills are not great.

People are invariably too quick to criticise, and rarely spend the time to applaud genuine helpful customer service.

I have no idea of Derek’s role in the business, but he has guaranteed my return business to Daisy and the company’s future recommendation should friends require one.
