Accidentally booked a room with no a/c and went up to reception to ask if we could pay for an upgrade, they sorted us out immediately and it ended up being of no extra charge. The vibe is great and the wildlife tour was so good. Forget the guys name but he was great. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

We did the wild life tour. It was a great experience. You get to get up close with animals you would have never thought about in the wild. The rangers were informative and shared fun facts about the animals. Overall it’s a must for anyone visiting the island.

We did the wildlife tour today and it was fab! It was only a small group so we was able to spend more time with each animal. Our guide was great, really knowledgeable. You can tell the animals are well looked after. Would highly reccomend

We did the wildlife tour and it was absolutely amazing. Very interactive and relaxed. Our children 6 & 12 both thoroughly enjoyed it. The ranger was both knowledgeable and personable. We would happily come back here!

I can't talk about the rooms, but I highly recommend the experience. I did not think I would ever have a python around my neck ... but the ranger is very friendly, confident and knowledgeable. Our kids 10&13 absolutely loved it too!
The bar area is so chill and relaxing, I could have spent the day there just hangin around.
Thx again.

We did not stay at Selina. We booked the "Wildlife Park Tour" online and we could not recommend it more. We were lucky since we were so few people, we could each spend a lot of time with the animals. But, seriously, worth every dollar because you get to see/feel the animais real close and the guide was amazing telling us all about those beautiful residents they have. Go!

Stayed the night in a powered camping spot. Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful with an abundance of wildlife. We participated in the wildlife tour. So informative and we were able to get up close to an array of animals. Our guide was friendly and informative. Fantastic all round experience. Highly recommend.

The was the absolute best thing we have ever don't on the island. We didn't stay in the accommodation, we visited and did the Animal Sanctuary Tour. This was worth every single dollar. We had an amazing time, our daughter loved interacting with the animals, scratching Harry the wombats tummy and getting to pat a Koala. Can't recommend this enough. The tour guide was brilliant, kept it super casual and easy. Great amount of knowledge, that he shared in a wonderful way, great sense of humour and small tour group which kept it super personal. Loved it here and from what we saw and heard waiting for the tour the accommodation, cheap happy hour and food looks spot on. We'll be back!

The best hostel I have ever stayed in. Great pool. Lots of wildlife. Close to the beach. Happy hour 4 til 7?!!! Very nice bungalow room, clean tidy. Fantastic. Suits all types if people including families. Drinks are well priced at their bar. Love the layout. Very sleek. Excellent service at the bar too.

Love this place! Rustic and basic, but has a beautiful relaxed feel for a backpackers joint. There’s no loud music or late nights like other places. Very subdued. Beautiful surroundings and wildlife. Adequate facilities. The camp bar area is a great place to chill, pizzas available every night, cheap happy hour, pool table and easy listening music. Or just hang out around the pool or at your spacious camp site. Lovely staff. I would suggest more evening activities, like trivia nights. Otherwise can’t fault it.

This was a throughly enjoyable experience! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. A great place to actually pet koalas vs. simply viewing them from afar. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet morning or afternoon with adorable, photogenic native Australian animals

I didn’t stay at this hostel over night - as much as I would’ve loved to - but we went to the Koala Park during the day. It was amazing to see so many incredible creatures that were so well looked after for such an affordable price. We had pizza after which was super yummy too. A must!

This place is really lovely. I've been here a few times, as I used to live on Maggie when I was a little kid. It was like a special treat to go there whenever we did. All the different animals made me feel more in tune with the wildlife there. Also the staff is very friendly and there's a tree there that I really liked and still like to climb. (I made sure to ask the staff if I could first though) A picture of the tree is attached :).

Went to Koala breakfast and Fabian was outstanding. He answered every question and also showed his love for the animals. The animals are all rescue animals or animals from captivity that could not be released back into the wild.

Beautiful camping with wildlife running around everywhere. Good happy hour prices, very welcome after a long day of hiking.

Had an issue with our room but staff helped us out. Wanted to upgrade us to a double room but couldn't find us that night so we got a refund instead.

All in all a wonderful experience.

Spent one night there, with the deal package 250$ including ferry return with the car. Beautiful campsite with great showers and kitchen area as well as a nice atmosphere!

Thank you bungalow bay koala village. We had amazing time, extended our stay twice to the maximum.

Great environment, great facilities and amazing staff team, including Zak, Brook, Maddie, Justice, manager Ondrey and especially to John who always went above and beyond.

They have nice swimming pool and cocktail bar. All day long you could see all the wild animals roaming around - wallabies, koalas, porcupines and friendly birds.

The village is close to amazing beach. The restaurants on the beach are pretty pure so stock your self up. Also nice bush walks. Also there is community skate park and tennis courts 2 min walk. We love it. Highly recommended!

A great place to stay! The bungalows are very clean and comfortable. There is a decent kitchen and the toilets are nice. It’s a short walk to Horseshoe Bay and an easy bus ride to all the other spots on the island - the bus literally picks you up outside!

A MUST STAY!!!

Booked for 5 nights - stayed one night - then extended our stay to 10 nights.

We had a studio bungalow, and loved every minute.

It is the definition of an ideal tropical island hostel. 3 'happy hours' a day, lovely pool, live music but nice & silent after 10pm.

We saw wild koalas, roos, wallabies, and much more right outside our door.

Staff were all super cool too.

Sure the shower block isn't super clean, but it is an eco-hostel.

Will definitely be back in the future.
