Elwood Family Dentist

I moved to the area and went to Dr Cherry for a check up. We decided to remove the filling around my pegged lateral, and replace it with something better. He did it without any numbing and was so precise in drilling etc that I did not feel a thing. I was relaxed the whole time and now my tooth looks beautiful, perfectly matched in colour and shape to the rest and my smile is lovely. I will never go to another dentist! I took my 9yo son for a check up as well, and my son was calm and relaxed throughout due to Dr Cherry's gentle methods.

Dr Tony was fantastic! Every time I've had an appointment I've been made to feel at ease. He does an outstanding job and explains everything thoroughly. For anyone (like myself) who is nervous about visiting the dentist, I recommend Elwood Family Dentist, friendly and they make you feel very comfortable. 5 stars!

Excellent service! Dr Tony made me feel at ease and definitely the best clean I've had. I experienced no discomfort from it and it didn't feel rushed like some other dentists. The receptionist is also very helpful and friendly. Can't ask for more!

Dr Tony is very thorough and gentle in his approach. I usually feel quite nervous, but with his expertise and high skills, I didn't feel a thing. His work is outstanding and he is extremely efficient. The whole team are warm and friendly. I highly recommend him. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I’ve visited this practice a few times this year, and each time I was treated with excellent standards or care and professionalism. Dr Tony and his team made me feel comfortable and at ease while working on my wisdom teeth; a nerve-wracking procedure. I appreciate their honest approach and openness to discussing future dental procedures in a collaborative way.

This was my first trip to the dentist in almost 20 years. The dentist Tony was very thorough and took the time to explane everything clearly. I was made to feel very comfortable and we'll looked after by everyone there from the moment I arrived. They even took the time to check on me to ensure I was not in pain after I left my appointment. I just had my check up performed by Dr Cherry and it was the best dentist experience I’ve had so far. Dr Cherrys consult was clear and calm. His workmanship was gentle and kind. Pausing many times to give your mouth a break.

Dr Tony Cherry is such a nice man and his team are very kind and considerate as well. I can’t believe how fast it was to get a crown done! He is very understanding with payment plans. I’d recommend this dentist to anyone that asked.

I have been going to Elwood Family Dentist for many years. Dr Tony Cherry is very thorough and explains dental information that is easy to understand. I look forward to going to my 6 monthly visits as I know Dr Cherry is an expert at looking after my teeth. Dr Cherry is also a Bupa preferred dentist.

I was extremely nervous coming here as I haven't been to a dentist in a few years. There was a nice calm and relaxing atmosphere as soon as I entered which helped ease my nerves and all the staff were really friendly. My first appointment was with the oral health therapist Teo, she was very informative and gentle with my clean. Usually my dental appointments are very rushed but Teo reassured me due to her professional and comforting nature. Highly recommend! Looking forward to my next visit :)

I have been coming to see Lew for several years. I haven’t lived in elwood for a number of years but still come to this clinic. Today I had the pleasure of being seen by Tony was amazing. Pillows for extra comfort and the most personable dentist I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Will definitely be coming here for many years to come.

I had a wonderful experience with dentist Tony and dental nurse Annalee. Extremely professional and friendly. I had a badly chipped tooth repaired and the service was over and beyond what I had expected. I recommend them very highly.

I hadn't been for a checkup in a long time and I was a little nervous. But all the staff were very friendly and kind and Dr Steinberg took the time to listen to some particular needs I had and also to give me some options about future dental care. I feel very happy with the care I received.

I was extremely nervous after 3 years of not visiting a Dentist, however Dr Tony was very gentle with the check up, cleaning and fillings. I have now found a perfect Dentist and would recommend Dr Tony to anyone.

Dr lew is a legend and very trustworthy. Recently moved away but went to him for a few years.

Editted: had a root canal and multiple crowns done here. Had some serious dental work done here and Dr. Lew was very calming and will make you feel less anxious when you are there.

I would like to express my appreciation to Dr Lew Steinberg and his staff at Elwood Family Dentist. They offer extremely professional services and always strive to calm patients who may be anxious about having dental work carried out. In the time I have been receiving dental treatment , I have always been rather nervy on the day - but not anymore; not since receiving treatment from Dr Steinberg. He and his staff perform their work in a calm, deliberate and relaxed manner after first taking time to explain carefully to the patient on what is to occur. Dr Steinberg (the gentle giant) is a very caring, approachable and reassuring person and the atmosphere within the clinic can be described as one where happy people are working together. In the 50 odd years I have been seeing dentists, I must declare that Dr Steinberg's operation is the best ever. Furthermore, the costs are reasonable. I believe you will be very pleased, like me, if you decide to have them manage your dental health.

Always receive the best treatment. Have visited several times for different treatments and always walked away very satisfied and pain free. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Contracted to Bupa, which is great! Thanks Dr Tony.
