Wedgetail Inn Hotel

After a long days driving, this was a welcome rest. Room was clean and well air conditioned. Food at the restaurant was excellent and great value. I highly recommend this stop!

We stopped here for a night during our travels from Perth to Adelaide. We booked a room (call ahead in case they are fully booked). Although a little dated, the room was clean and comfortable, as well as the bathroom. The room had a mini fridge and a kettle. The Aircond was cold and the shower was warm. The staff at the roadhouse were super friendly and the food was yummy too (big portions!). Overall, we enjoyed our stay at here and have no bad things to say about the place!

Great place to stay when travelling. Rooms were clean and comfortable, food was good and the staff were all incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be welcoming and accommodating.

We stopped for fuel and a bite to eat and the manager and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, cooking us a toastie not on the menu and telling us the story of the wedge tail eagles. Great spot to stop

The best of the best of roadside accommodation. The beds were comfy and even though we stayed in a pet-friendly room, there was no evidence of the pet before us.

Knowing the kitchen would close at 6.45pm and knowing we’d arrive pretty much bang on 7pm, we called ahead and ordered takeaway food.

After we checked in and headed to our room, the wonderful team brought the food to us. Food was great too.

It was worth pushing on from Caiguna to stay here. Just don’t forget about the 45 minute time difference (forward) when you get past Caiguna.

We pulled up for the night with camper decided to have tea. It was delicious and service was excellent.

We were really looking forward to our stay in Cocklebiddy, and the Wedgetail Inn did not disappoint! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely meal (I recommend the lamb chops!!). The room was Nullarbor-fab! Comfy, cozy, and clean! The decor was exact what we had expected right down to the ceiling panels, which had the appearance of a cork board. I highly recommend that you make a point of stopping in at Cocklebiddy and spending a night at the Wedgetail if you find yourself crossing the Nullarbor.

Yes rooms are a little dated but comfortable & tidy. Facilities are clean & hospitality is fantastic

The staff were friendly. Nice to see the care and concern for the local wildlife, especially the resident Eagles. The room was sufficient, hot shower, comfortable bed and they had the room warmer up when we arrived. Just a little noisy. The food was amazing and great value. Cudos to the guys in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend staying here or even just stopping for a feed and a coldie. Oh and the camping area looked good as well.

We had an overnight stop at the Wedge Tailed Eagle Inn Hotel. The room was basic but fine and very clean, a real achievement in such a harsh environment. For the evening meal we ordered parmigiana with vegetables (six types) and all done to perfection. Special mention to Adam who was very friendly and helpful.

Stopped for lunch and we ordered a fish burger and a hamburger. Both were fabulous, with generous serve of fresh veggies, and quite reasonably priced. Excellent food for this part of country.

Travelled from Camden, NSW towards WA to live. This was definitely my favourite stop out of all of the other ones.
They let me keep my best furry friend here, they all loved and gave her affection like she was their own.
Service was exemplary whilst in the restaurant both in terms of customer interaction and speed of service. The meals presented are more than worth the price listed.
If you want a bit of country charm whilst on the Nullarbor then this is definitely the place you should stay! I could not be more impressed for the price(s) that I paid and the welcoming/warming interactions that I had with all of the staff at the Wedgetail.

The customer service is unreal, everyone is exremely nice, easy going, very approachable and most importantly, make sure youre well looked after. My first trip driving across the country and i would do it again solely to stay here once more.
Very humble comfy place to stay. And did i mention the food is unreal!

This place is amazing. Do your self a favour if your arriving late call ahead and pre order your dinner TRUST me you will thank me. If it wasn't so far away I would go just for there roast beef wow yummm. All the staff are amazing I can't fault it

Sometimes the mirage is real! This place is an oasis in the desert. A key was arranged after hours, the place looks simple from the outside but the rooms were Perfectly clean, bathroom was sparkling clean, the bed was so inviting and the mattress so comfortable that when my partner and I woke up we had slept so deep we forgot where we were! 10/10 place to stay! Thanks for having us!

Great stop over on our way from Perth to Melbourne. Room was nice and clean, shower was working perfectly with plenty of hot water. Dinner servings were huge and service was friendly. Thank you for your hospitality.

Thank you so much for collecting our customer who had broken down 26km's east of you with your tilt tray tow truck. They could have stayed in 11 degree temperature overnight, however your kindness and helpfulness went above and beyond anything I could ever have hoped for. You have made an awesome difference in the Customer Experience that neither I or they will forget.

I stayed here doing a sewer upgrade, the staff are super friendly and dish out your meals super fast that leave you extremely satisfied! The beds are nice and comfy aswell, highly recommend

We have 2 dogs and pet friendly accomodation is not popular and going along the Nullarbor, it's not like you can just say oh well, next town! Yeah 200km away but cocklebiddy roadhouse was awesome, so friendly from the moment I walked in! A great space for the dogs out near the golf green to stretch their legs The room was great! Was nice to have a good shower ! Food was amazing! Who thought being so far away from everything, that everything was so fresh! Highly recommend bacon and egg toastie ! The prices even considering we had two dogs, was really fairly priced as you get the bond back if the animals don't do any damage ect ! will recommend to people with pets that are needing a rest stop for the night or that just need a decent feed to continue their journies
