Guardian Childcare and Education South Coogee

We love this centre! My 20month year old girl started attending 2 days when she was 10m/o and the transition to daycare was better than I expected. The educators are amazing and my girl loves them. Shout out to Sarah, Stef and Sujata in the babies room.
We love the fact that all educators across the centre and its manager, get to know the families and children (and all names), which I’m sure that it will help the kids to transition from one room to another when the time comes.
The menu is another plus, meals are very balanced and nutritious, chef Mariel is so lovely and is constantly sharing her recipes via the app.
We are very happy with Eden South Coogee :) and we are hoping that my newborn attends there too.

What a centre! Our 3 year old has experienced all rooms, from baby to preschool, and our 1 year old is currently in the baby room. As an educator myself I have high expectations across curriculum, outdoor messy play experiences, social and emotional support, nutritious and positive food experiences, and an exceptional school readiness program. Guardian South Coogee expertly and consistently delivers in all areas. The team truly creates a home away from home for our children, developing genuine, caring bonds with our babies, and supporting parents every step of the way. I love that this centre isn’t massive- the educators across each room know every child and parent by name, even if they aren’t the educators of your child’s room, which helps smooth transitions between rooms and helps your child feel a sense of belonging. We couldn’t be happier having this team in our corner nurturing our kids.

Our daughter attends here and the amazing carers and chef really make the place wonderful. Outdoor areas are nicely set up and are safe as well as fun. They do a lot of activities and certainly keep our little girl entertained and happy all day long. The carers really understand our little girl and she has always been happy to go to daycare, which is the biggest endorsement as far as we are concerned. They also keep us updated daily on all the goings on and its always lovely to see what they have been up to. I would definitely recommend this daycare to parents. My daughter did not get used to new people easily but she had no trouble getting used to Jane's Place

We could not be happier with Jane’s Place. After researching and applying for other daycare centres we could not find one that we felt was suitable for our son until a neighbour recommended Jane’s Place.
From day one the educators have gone out of their way to make us feel welcome and are happy, friendly and professional.
Mariel the chef is amazing and our son eats all of her yummy food (if only he would eat ours). Our son loves attending Jane’s Place and has made lots of friends.

Our 2 year old has been going here for the last 4 months, and has just moved up to the next age group. The educators in both classes have been so fantastic and we can see the difference in how the programs are tailored to the age groups. Every interaction with the educators is so positive and our boy loves going there and is always talking about it and knows the educators names! It may cost a bit more than some centres, but it is so worth it for a happy, entertained kid and confidence that he is safe and looked after.
The centre has only improved more since Paige took over, with her infectious positivity. Thanks to you all!

We are so thankful for Eden Academy. They have gone above and beyond in encouraging the growth and development of our child. All of the educators are kind and also transparent if any issues arise. I recommend them without any hesitation.

Jane's Place has been wonderful right from the start with enrolment. Great communication and a warm welcome. My son settled in so well and just loves going. All his carers are so warm, lovely and enthusiastic with very caring natures. They always they look like they have so much fun with great activities and facilities. And the food menu always sounds yummy and nutritious. Definitely recommend.

Our two kids love JP! The educators are amazing, nurturing and really look after each child as an individual. Having catering that meets my child's high allergy needs is also a real relief. Staff are always willing to discuss my children and their needs.

We can't express how incredibly happy we are with all aspects of Jane's Place Early Learning centre! The educators are wonderful, they are so caring and attentive, keeping you informed and up to date with your child's daily adventures and growth. Our kids are also spoilt by the amazing onsite chef cooking up a storm! Management is super helpful and being a smaller centre aware of your child's day to day activity as well. The centre is well organised yet familiar and cosy and the kids have a great outdoor space to enjoy too. We moved from another centre and couldn't be happier joining the Jane's Place family!

We highly recommend Jane's Place at south coogee . My older child, who is now in Kindy spend a couple of years at Jane's place and he flourished and learnt so much from his educators. My daughter who was attending a more local child care now goes to Jane's place as we loved and missed the girls so much we sent her to Jane's place .

The same educators in the older kids rooms were still there and we were able to reconnect our amazing relationship with them.

Both my kids have enjoyed their time there and my daughter who currently attends, walks in and leaves me without even saying good bye as she so interested to go to her class room and see everyone she forgets about me !

I shifted my son from another daycare centre in Maroubra and what an eye opener Jane's Place was. I couldn't believe how amazing the educators are. So genuine and really care about the little ones. I now have two boys that go there and they literally run in the door when I drop them off. Feels so good to know they are somewhere they love. Such a warm, homely and friendly place. Love it.

As a sport coach I visit many childcare centres and I don’t normally leave any review about place that I visited. But after that I spent several weeks teaching soccer at the centre I can definitely say that it’s one of the best I have been too. Professional and friendly educators, and this has a strong impact on the kids behaviour.

If you want a childcare centre where the staff just genuinely care for your child and welcome you with warmth and happiness every day, this is the place for you.

I was anxious about putting my baby in childcare but honestly, I couldn’t be happier. Even in light of all of the impacts of COVID, they’ve maintained their high standards of care.

Our child has been attending Jane's Place for years. The educators are caring and friendly. Great space, open & inviting. I highly recommend.

What makes this centre, the carers. without them it wouldn’t be as incredible as it is. We couldn’t be more thankful or grateful with the caters/facilitators, education and support they provide us and our little one. Couldn’t recommend this centre highly enough.

Highly recommend Jane's Place - went to a few centres around the area and ended up enrolling here as facilities look nice and clean and place well managed.
Can't forget to mention the staff are absolutely wonderful and house chef cooks amazing dishes which my son always seems to love as well.

Exceptional staff - genuine relationship with our son and he LOVES going to daycare. Great learning environment, very happy parents!

Excellent quality of care from the educators, a great school readiness programme for the pr-schoolers and top notch food from Mariel (which we get to take home weekly for the whole family)
