Paul is a very good host.
Having dinner was great.
He has lots of ideas for his bed and breakfast.
Was so enjoyable to actually see a host, and have conversation.
The first in 7 stays to see a host! The rest in Tasmania was very inhospitable.
We will return

Had a great time at house on the hill, even though we booked on the day Paul was super prepared and was extremely hospitable. The room was impeccable and it was like walking into a dream. The icing on the cake was the beautiful views and padamelons visiting as the sun set. Would definitely visit again, I wish I could give more stars.

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here. It is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting with amazing hosts. The room was very well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed. Judith and Paul are very welcoming, giving a lot of attention to detail.

From the moment you get to The House on the Hill you feel so welcomed, 6 of us enjoyed the High Tea that Judith & Paul are now offering on certain dates. It was a bleak day weather wise, but the views & Kookaburras were just wonderful.
The food offered was just delicious, also the glass of bubbles and a special cocktail on arrival certainly went down well.
We all really had a great time, we were certaimly looked after as Paul & Judith make sure you are really happy.
After nearly 3.5hrs of continuous laughter and a great viewing of the property we had to leave.
Have booked again for in the New Year for another Birthday High Tea, can't wait.
Thankyou so much Paul & Judith, everyone drop by there you will thoughly enjoy every minute.

Had afternoon tea at the House on the Hill today to celebrate Mother's Day, was organised by my son Ryan. From start to finish the whole experience was superb, from the glass of sparkling wine to the very nice English Breakfast Tea and all the scrummy treats in between, will definitely be returning. Beautiful views of the Huon Valley to boot! Thank you very much for making Mother's Day wonderful.

We were received with a very warm welcome. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Our breakfast was delicious and made with 'real' eggs lol very entertaining and a relaxed vibe.
The scenery is magnificent and makes for a lovely morning watching the sunrise.

From the moment you arrive Judy & Paul are there to welcome you and make your stay enjoyable. We have now stayed there twice and would be very happy to stay there again. We highly recommend their bed and breakfast should you require somewhere to stay. Big Thumbs UP - Debbie & Frank.

Exceptional Mothers Day high tea, lovely range of delicious treats, all prepared on site. Wonderful, friendly hosts, made us feel very welcome. We hope they plan more events for us to look forward to.

In a word - wonderful. This is the best accomodation we have had on our 2 weeek Tasmanian holiday (that includes the 4 star hotels). The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, the food is great and our hosts Judith and Paul are spoiling us rotten. The position and view are just beautiiful. A memorable way to end our holiday.

Incredible customer service from Judith and Paul. It's the small things and their attention to detail but most of all to you that makes it amazing. We feel like we're coming home or visiting family. We simply love staying here.

Centrally located to explore all the area has to offer. The owners will make you feel incredibly welcome and are genuinely happy to share their slice of paradise with you!

Wonderful hospitality in an awesome location. Accomodation was a delight, a lovely view from the guests lounge room and a delicious meal cooked for us for dinner. Highly recommended for couples or a family.
