Mckenzies Mobile Mechanics

Did not use the Mobile option. However I made an appointment to have my Santa Fe serviced in the workshop in Brant road.
I am extremely impressed with the customer service. Steve spoke to me personally, and I was impressed with his mild manner, and no if or maybe approach. I realised this was a service and went prepared with a book to read whilst waiting. The reception staff were lovely in there phone manner whilst taking external calls. I'll give the coffee 9 out of 10, because nothing is perfect. On completion of my service Steve came and spoke to me. I was extremely impressed.
Yes I will use this business again. Why? Because I feel this is a genuine old fashioned business. Cheers. David.

I am absolutely STOKED with my mobile service on my Mitsi Eclipse Cross Exceed. I am always very wary and cautious about anyone touching my car, some call it a bit obsessive, but I love my car more than my dog loves cheese... the mechanic called to tell me he was running behind time (so great communication there which is appreciated when you are at home waiting for them to arrive) -- he was incredibly polite and friendly, which is nice too. I received a quote prior to the service so I knew what approximately I was in for, that was helpful. The end result was less than I was quoted so that was a win win for me too. It was explained to me everything that was on my invoice about my brakes and what to listen for so I knew they'd need replacing; about the battery etc etc. I am a woman on my own dealing with a predominantly male environment and I know a lot about cars, but not as much as a mechanic. I felt he explained everything really well to me and answered my questions really well too. I ABSOLUTELY will be coming back for my next service without any hesitation. Thank you for the brilliant experience and not ripping me off or treating me like I was daft, thank you. Already recommended you to the neighbour and my daughter :)

Amazing mechanic! Went above and beyond to service the car if my client. He even asked all the questions he had to ask about the car and what tools he was using.

Highly recommend this company.

I found them to be honest, reliable, friendly.
The price at the end of the work was a pleasant surprise!

I have been using McKenzies for years and highly recommend them - they're the best mechanics in Perth.

For me, who knows nothing about cars, I have 100% trust in their recommendations and they always act honestly and with integrity, which has probably saved me thousands over the years.

McKenzies are always on time, nice to deal with and honest - definitely use them.

What a great business. Friendly and knowledgeable without making you feel like an idiot or stinging you on price.

I recently purchased a second hand golf and had the engine light come on suddenly whilst driving down the freeway. I immediately thought the worst. When I got home I googled local mechanics in the Kelmscott area and Mckenzies came up. Called the shop and spoke to a lovely lady that told me to just come down and the boys would take a quick look which I did. Didn’t have to wait long at all. I got a full report with error codes and was so relieved to find out it was something simple. $6 part from Repco and a 30 fiddle round myself and the problem was solved.

Wound highly recommend these guys. Local family business trading off honesty and a reputation for honesty and integrity.

Scott was an awesome mechanic. Trouble shot a problem I was having but he got it sorted straight up. And inspected virtually everything during the service. Very happy, will be spreading the word.

Always use McKenzies to service our cars. Everyone is very friendly and have never had any issues with getting our cars serviced there. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable mechanics who are always happy to help.

Exceptional service from booking through to the visit. The lady who I booked with was very kind and helpful. The mechanic who came round was pleasant and took his time to help figure out the issues with our car. Overall they were fantastic.

Steve, Julie and the team are great at what they do. Reasonably priced, so friendly, personable and very honest. I highly reccomend them for any mechanical work, big or small, east or challenging.

Customer service was very nice, the receptionist on the phone was extremely polite and helpful. She really made sure she had all the correct details which I appreciate.

As for the job they did on fixing my car I cannot complain as of writing this review. My car had a broken fuel pump which they were able to identify relatively quickly and also fix with zero issues. Have had no issues with my car since then, it seems they have not only done an acceptable job but used good quality parts.

Something I was also super impressed by was their kind gesture of dropping my car off at my house as I was too busy to pick it up. I did not even ask them to do it, they offered to do it which I am extremely grateful to them for doing, free of charge!

I will say I was slightly frustrated that my car had to go into the shop because the mobile mechanic “was not able” to change the fuel pump without my car getting lifted on a hoist. I understand that my fuel tank had to be dropped in order to get to the broken pump which makes a normally quick and easy job a lot more tedious. However, considering my Dad and I were able to remove the fuel tank from my car and get to the fuel pump ourselves just by using a jack, with relative ease (this isn’t the first time the fuel pump has broke) I would think the qualified *MOBILE* mechanic would be more then capable of doing that himself. Regardless, the whole point of getting a mobile mechanic was so my car didn’t have to go into the shop. I probably ended up paying more than if I had just taken my car straight to the shop to get looked at, so that is my only frustration but perhaps this is more my fault than theirs for expecting it to happen my way.

I would caution people that if they feel the problem they have with their car is gonna require it to be lifted on a hoist to just take their car straight to the shop and save time and potentially some money.

Otherwise I would say you cannot go wrong with these guys. They will look after you and your car, they are an honest business that seem to have integrity, and thats not something that can easily be said about mechanics these days!

Just when you think good service has died, along comes the McKenzies.
I was in serious trouble with my Toyota, and as a shift worker needed my car to be mobile.
Steve and Judy moved mountains to get me back on the road for which I am extremely grateful.
The quality and service they offer is second to none with fair and reasonable prices as well.

I just had a service and inspection for a long trip. The service was reasonably priced and the team were happy to discuss everything they found in the inspection, how much each thing would cost and when I should look at getting it fixed. No pressure from them to get anything fixed. I will definitely be going back.

Customer service in spades from the first phone call to the last, and very good value for money. Scott and his apprentice, Liam, were a delight. Everything you could hope for. Friendly, on time, helpful and knowledgeable. I felt that nothing was too much trouble, and I would definitely recommend this Company.

It was a great experience with McKenzie guy name Simon highly honest professional, friendly. did diagnose and workout the problem in time and save me my time as well as extra time cost.

Mechanic Suhaiman, this young man was extremely attentive and helpful. My old car that I'd left it parked outside for years needed taking a look at because its engine wasn't starting! Not only did he diagnosed the engine right and found that it was the fuel pump that needs replacing, he gave an excellent service that which is natural to him 🙏😊 Even through the uncertainty of the weather outside today, raining one minute and sunshine the next, he remained Calm and he made it with good Faith, and to our amazement today, the rain stopped and Sunshine and clear skies was in for the moment he was fixing my car! Now I'm not saying it'll be like this all the time, bad weather may still come and go, that it will pass like passing Clouds, let it all pass and what remains is Calm. Thank you so so much for fixing my old car Suhaiman! (And the new work experience kid for helping too). Judy from the office was also very kind, friendly and attentive to my first call to get the mechanic down and booked in appointment, as well as Steve too today for calling in and reassuring that Suhaiman is on the way! I have been using Mckenzies Mobile Mechanics for over 10 years. Their services has always been professional and friendly. I particularly like the way the mechanic explains everything is detail and lets you know in advance things that need to be done in near future . The work is always reliable and they always put the customers need first. I highly recommend them.
