The Bite

One of the best places to eat in Perth CBD, especially before a night out. Fantastic food, especially the spicy cream cheese chicken with some soju! Great service and lovely staff. Definitely recommend!!

The Bite Bar & Bistro had great variety of Korean food with a Western twist. Portions is more than enough for a shared table of 2 - 3 people and same goes for the dishes for 1 person if you're dining by yourself.
You can also wash the meal down with a Cass or Sapporo beer or better yet, Soju with various flavours if you're feeling fancy or thirsty. The dining area is spacious and the background music provides good vibes!

Would recommend The Bite, especially if you need to kick on or sober up from a work drink up, or finish work late within the CBD or Northbridge!

It always looked so damn tasty from the window that I had it in my to eat list for a couple of years.
Long story short, it was pretty good. Tasty and hearty.
It won't blow your mind, but it willke you smile and feel happy, great place to catch up with friends!!.

Technical bits:
I went early in the night.
The food was delicious, the chicken tasty and moist.
The tomato piece was a good side dish, made it feel healthy.
The waiter was super cordial and welcoming.

Great atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food. My partner and I just walked in and straight away Chan offered us a seat. Chan’s service was outstanding, he gave us great recommendations from the menu and was constantly attentive.
We had the seafood ramen and the pork and kimchi stew. So good 😊 Very affordable also.
Highly recommend…we will definitely be back!

fantastic experience!! food was so authentic and tasty. we had the teokbokki, pork and kimchi stew, kimchi pancake, soy fried chicken and kan pung ki fried chicken. everything tasted amazing. was very impressed with service too, all the staff were so friendly and attentive and made sure we were being looked after, at one point I stood up to ask for more water and straight away without me even saying anything the lady went and grabbed more water for me. was a great price at about $27 per person including a bottle of delicious apple mango soju to share. would definitely come back.

Came to Perth for a business trip and found this bistro type of Korean restaurant that I’ve not experienced before.
Great food for my needs this evening which was spicy broth “kimchi and pork soup”, protein ‘bossam” and finally “kimchi jeon” aka kimchi pancake with two bottles of soju to wash it down.

As expected , the food was great truly but need to put extra effort in servicing .

My favorite black bean noodles was so good. Don’t forget to order pork and kimchi jjigae with soju-beer. And ya second favt corn cheese and chilli cheese chip 🤤. Always love to comeback 😊

Great meal whilst having a Xmas catch-up with mates. My 1st time eating Korean & I loved the food. Great service, food, drinks & atmosphere. Highly recommend & keen for a return visit.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing service. And they fed us at 9:30 PM on a Sunday night, which is a huge plus.

Staff was really friendly and food was amazing. We enjoyed rare beef sashimi.

One of my fav restaurants in Perth! Never fails to give a great service even though they're busy. Best japchae EVER 🫠🫶🏻 other foods such as cream cheese chicken/pork and seafood udon are also reaaalllyy goood 🤩

Love this place. Food is great, staff are extremely friendly and really great for a catch up, quick bite before Fringe or dinner and drinks.

Really, really delicious! We ordered the spicy cheese chicken, korean army stew, pork bean sprouts stir-fry, kimchi pancake and tteokbokki (which had a strong fishy taste so not my favourite). Literally everything else was very delicious. The spicy cheese chicken especially blew me away; took one bite and had to exclaim out loud how nice it was! Food was so flavourful and reasonably priced.

It's a shame you can't book but I only had to wait around ~15-20min for a table of 8 on a Saturday night. Really lively atmosphere. I'll definitely be back :)

I'm from the U.S., was visiting my gf in Perth for her birthday and she recommended this restaurant, I recently just returned from a trip to Korea & it felt like I was there but also it was new! The guy at the front of house was super nice & helpful (his name was Chon i think i forget) and helped with arranging singing happy birthday to my girl. The food was so good, the black bean noodles were simple and executed perfectly. The food really speaks for itself. We got LOTS it (too much for two ppl lol) and had some really tasty leftovers the next morning. Overall 9/10

Never disappoint and always hit home, each meal is huge and filling while being very moderately price.

food was amazing! Can't say anything else! Enjoyed it so much

amazing every single time, never ever disappoints, food is of amazing standard and quality and tastes to die for! the korean army stew, cream cheese chicken and corn cheese are amazing and are mine and my partners usual go - to's! the service is amazing and they always cater to your needs and are very very nice, makes you feel very at home.

Everything good here! Except one thing which is they don't take bookings so go early if you don't wanna wait!

I always come here to have Spicy cream cheese chicken and back bone stew. Always satisfied. Thanks, The Bite.
