Great RV and caravan park. Awesome setup and very well maintained and kept. Fantastic amenities also very clean. Beautiful flat grassy sites. I would highly recommend only at $50 a night is a bit steep for unpowered and to still have to pay for showers was a bit much, but still I would stay again.

Huon valley is a beautiful place, easily placed for access to Hobart etc. The caravan park is a short stroll away from Huonville for shops and other services. There appears to be a flat rate charge for sites at the park regardless of powered and not powered. The park also has a charge for showers (4min @ 1$). That may put some people off, however this caravan park gives you large, clean camping sites. For non powered some sites have small storage shelters, but all sites have either a slab or thick grass. The camp kitchen is large and well equipped. There are around 10 or 11 separate clean showers and toilets. We never had to queue or wait for a shower. The camp kitchen has USB wall chargers installed and available. Along the edge of the park is a river where you can see platypus, ducks and the occasional trout. The park also has cows and sheep which gives the impression of a work farm stay. There are also Tasmanian Devils, with a daily feed time. We saw three devils across various feedings. We enjoyed our stay at the park, it was clean and spacious.

This place is amazing for children and the whole family, the campsites are vary generous and the camp kitchen and shower facilities are next level amazing. They do a daily show at 4pm which includes feeding the tassie devils and varies from sheering a sheep, sheepdog show, milking a cow and the massive bubble machine, with all shows they hand out baby ducks and chicken for everyone to have a hold of, great for kayaking and they have made a beach by the river for the kids 😀 the river is very slow running and has a shallow end and a deep end, simply amazing I would highly recommend 😀 👍

Only park I’ve been where several resident platypus families live. We saw several which is amazing. Big sites in pristine park lots of birds open space scenery is just lovely in the park itself. Creek runs through park so can fish as well Huon river just 100 metres away. Amenities modern clean and well laid out. Very big park 26 acres so check site distance to amenities as can be a decent walk. Owners take pride in their park and it shows.

Very clean, sites quite large, the beach at the river is fun. The tassie devil display is very nice and extra activities as well. Camp kitchen for those doing tent camping is great

Excellent place to stay. The feeding of the Devils carried out each afternoon at 4.00. Great to see and even greater the information given on our fierce but cute little endangered marsupials. A family run park that is very comfortable and relaxing. Also has platypus in Huon River that runs through the Park.

Amazing peaceful location with well cared for, modern amenities- camp kitchen, laundry, showers, toilets. Beautiful manicured spaces surrounded by a pretty (large) stream with platypuses. Also rescued Tassie devils which you can watch being fed - informative and interesting. A very short drive or wander into Huonville for all supplies and cafes. Thoroughly recommend Huon Valley Caravan Park, well done Rowan & Leanne for creating a wonderful place, so glad we stayed 😊

We stayed here for 5 nights and this has been the highlight of our trip so far. We booked here for the Tassie devil daily feeding and it was amazing to see them so up close. The park was very lush and green and all amenities were always clean no matter what time you went up to them. We stayed on a water front site and it was beautiful.

We did two nights here, was a bit anxious before going due to the bad reviews on here, but the gentleman was very pleasant to us, excellent with the kids that were at the park, had them screaming and enjoying themselves during the bubbles he distributed on the lawn.
Maybe he doesn’t like adults?? We will use this park again. Thank you

Wonderful park, attention to detail was spot on. We used the location as a base to go up to Hobart, Port arthur, down south to Cockle Beach.

This caravan park was one of our favourite while visiting Tassie. Well maintained spacious campsites. The amenities where clean and modern, including the showers, laundry and camp kitchen. We loved the 4pm show, it was informative and engaging. We were happy to pay the few extra dollars to stay here, and would definitely stay here again.

One of the best parks to stay in Tasmania. Brilliant facilities and excellent sites. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon devil show and did spot a platypus in the morning thanks to the tip-off from one of the team at the park. Congratulations on providing a wonderful experience.

This campsite was fantastic. The lady at the reception was super helpful and friendly. The amenities were extremely clean and the kitchen was amazing. They even had Tasmanian Devils inside and a very informative feeding and viewing time. The reception lady Jessica even gave me home grown apples as we were asking if there was anything close by, so she bought some in for us. A lovely experience.

We had a powered site, with a concrete pad, near the river, beautiful! Heaps of space in this very well maintained park. Devil feeding at 16:00 was a bonus. Great location! Great modern amenities all very clean. We usually free camp, but this place will have us back for another 4-5 day stay soon.
