From the friendly locals who are always up for a chat to the great team who manage the bar and restaurant. Can’t fault it. Been a couple of times now and absolutely loved the food, atmosphere and people. Looking forward to our next visit 🤩

This is a really great place I used to ride here at the rodeos when it was still open never tried the food but the bull rides were awsome ! So sad it shut down !

A real slice of Australiana here. We stopped hoping for a sandwich. The laconic, but hospitable publican said he was on his own but could offer a toasted sandwich or hamburger. We opted for the former and while he disappeared out back to make the sandwiches we looked around and were charmed by the array of bric a brac and bits and pieces of nostalgia covering the walls and floors of the the three rooms: including an L shaped pool table, a signed photo of Dolly Parton, a tribute to Slim Dusty, signed footy jumpers, et al. We sat near the wood stove sharing the warmth with a sleeping dog who we later learned had been abandoned by a passing backpacker some years ago and taken in by the pub owners. You won't get a gourmet meal here, but do yourself a favour and stop for a cold drink and soak up a bit of nostalgia.
