Mitchelton Muse Restaurant

The team were able to accompany us whilst Nagambie was having a power outage.
We found the food to be mostly appetising and beautifully presented. The restaurant was looked great inside though I’d recommend to seat outside if the weather permits as it overlooks the Goulburn River.

Came here for lunch with a group of friends.

We ordered a fair amount of dishes and everyone enjoyed what they ordered.

Good quality food all round and I thoroughly enjoyed my risotto.

The only slight negative was the waitress who served us, she was excessively abrupt and left us waiting for lengthy times.

Othet then that, was an enjoyable lunch with great food and wine.

6. Saffron semi freddo, burnt orange, pistacho
7. Tres leche sponge, caramelised coconut, lemon sorbet, native plum

I had the lamb slow cooked shoulder. Very nice but a bit oiley. The side of veggies was nice. Also had the antipasto for starters very good served 4.

Never had a bad meal or a disappointing experience while dining here over the past three years while staying at the fabulous Mitchelton Hotel celebrating our wedding anniversary.

After visiting the cellar door for wine tasting, taking in the view from the observation deck and art gallery, we decided to try lunch at The Muse.
Greeted warmly be staff and politely advised lunch must be concluded within a specific time to allow for a private function later we were seated and view the menu.
The restaurant was airy, although still warm on a 42 degree day. Our order was taken promptly and we were soon eating our first course, followed by mains (we were too full for dessert)
Although not a large number of options to choose from on the menu we enjoyed our meals, and the environment.

Stopped for a coffee and light snack before driving back to Melbourne after a day in the area. A serene setting. We had some fresh pacific oysters from Coffin Bay in SA that were absolutely delicious. Thank you to the two lovely ladies in the restaurant who looked after us.

Absolutely stunning restaurant located within Mitchelton wineries. The food was fresh and well prepared, it was hard to stop eating even after becoming full! The perfect end to a relaxing evening exploring the winery grounds.

Like fine dining without the pomp. The food was superb, the atmosphere relaxed and our waiter Morgan gave us the most careful, attentive and friendly service. We'll be back! Morgan's service made my partners birthday dinner extra special. Highly recommended.

Right next to the cellar door, nice interior, the food was tasting great, chicken was tender so does the fish. Nice to sitting outdoors with the amazing weather

Excellent lunch and friendly staff. The venue is very congenial and the option to sit under the pergola draped in grapevines is a pleasant way to pass a sunny autumn afternoon.

Faultless lunch enjoyed outside Muse, under a vine canopy, overlooking the river. Brilliant food and lovely wines.

I don’t normally like wineries because I’m not a big drinker but was pleasantly surprised with my weekend stay.

We had a table of 10 for dinner and breakfast and had no issues. We started at 8 but for the amount of food we ordered everything arrived within 30 mins of ordering. We had the school prawns, lamb ribs, sweet corn ribs and yabbie dumplings to start. Followed by chicken, hanger steak, pork belly, trout, goat and salads for mains. We shared everything so we were not fussy about how/when the food arrived. Steaks were correctly cooked to order and everyone loved all the dishes. The nagambee honey parfait was the winner out of the deserts so much so there wasn’t enough to share as we ordered 3 between our group.

Okay, let me explain why it is 5. 5 for the table waiting staffs, both ladies were lovely and friendly. Always check with us (9 of us) what we need and explain to us on these menu. 5 for the facilities, the environment, the car park (plenty of space) and over scenery were amazing, can view the river off the outdoor seating. 3 for the foods, the portion is way too small for the price however the source of both fish dishes were good, end up we wipe off the source from the plate. The chip is nothing but overcooked. The steak and lamb is good. Not sure will go back again. Maybe just for the wines.

Fantastic service and the food and wine are amazing. Credit to a great Chef for keeping the menu creative and delicious. Glad to see the awesome potatoes still on the menu, delicious 😋 best potatoes ever, and I don't normally eat potatoes, but you cannot eat at Muse without ordering them. 😋
