Echuca Moama Stand Up Paddle SUP Est 2015

The most tranquil, therapeutic, relaxing way to spend a morning. The water was a perfect temperature, tepid on those little, or not so little toes, even first thing in the morning.
Instructions were great, clear and simple, then off you go meandering down the Murray River, being amazed by the stunning scenery.
An absolute must if you’re up in this breathtaking part of the country.
Bonus if you get to meet Layla, the dog with buckets of personality.

Fantastic experience.

Drive to the new bridge being built (at time of writing) on Scenic Drive and meet the host. Put on your life jacket then it’s a 10 minute drive in their 4x4 van to the drop off point. There you’re instructed on how to use your board and then you’re off down the Murray.

Controlling the board is relatively easy and anyone from 6 to 60 could do it. You need to be a little bit fit as it takes about 60 minutes. Kids can easily kneel or sit on the board and paddle. Of course adults could as well.

Then enjoy the trip down the river and keep an eye and ear out for the wildlife (on the banks, not in the river ;)

If it’s a 30+ day recommend the 8am trip; the river is quieter and the weather cooler. Don’t worry if you fall in. The river isn’t that cold. The hard part is getting back on the board! Also watch out for the wake of any passing motor boats.

TIP: You can hire a waterproof phone case so you can take photos of your family along the way. Fits most phones including iPhone Max.

Great first experience. Snelso (and her very obedient, Laila) took care of us newbies providing clear instructions and kits.
Don't worry even if you end up falling into the river, the lifejackets do their job. Must try adventure (ahem.. workout) :)

Snelso is amazing. We all had such a great time. We have 2 kids with autism and both had a ball. She is so accommodating, even when booking last minute. Had great coaching on how to use the boards and everything we needed was provided. Also very nice to get shuttled up river so you can relax on the way back down. Great experience for us and the kids and very affordable for what you get. Highly recommend doing this while on holidays.

We messaged them the night before as our plans changed last minute. Super fast response and we were able to go at 10am the next day. We were worried everything would be booked out. Highly recommend as this was such a good experience. The River was so beautiful and paddling was relaxing and exciting at the same time. Jess was lovely, up beat and professional and was super good with me (first timer). Didn't have to worry about any car shuffle or leaving clothes etc super smooth and well organised. 👌👌👌

This is a must do activity for all locals and anyone visiting our beautiful town.
Jess is a wonderful instructor and is very well organised. Making booking simple and the whole activity so enjoyable.

We decided to try a paddle down the river for something different for our second Echuca trip. Jess was super friendly and accommodating that we ended up going out twice, the second time with our children. The service was fab, pick up and transport upriver to make the paddle nice and cruisy plus extra flexible when we had our children to make it a fab experience for us all. Great quality boards and jackets. Look forward to returning so we can do it again . Highly recommend this experience even for novices!

We did the 9.30am SUP today and had a blast!! It was well organised, beautiful spot on the river and the staff were great. It was also lots of fun to paddle alongside the great old paddlesteam boats. Thanks for a great time Jess!

Had an awesome time this morning on our paddle at dawn, would highly recommend. A very relaxing way to start the day and a great way to see Echuca/Moama from the river. Jess does a fantastic job explaining how to use the boards (which aren’t that hard at all) and helps you to pick a board suited to your needs. She also takes you out to a very safe and low traffic section of the river. Great for groups to socialise or just chill out. Will be booking again.

We had a 8am session, 2 adults and 2 girls 10 and 13.
Girls were first timers.
We had a very clear briefing before getting in the water and we were provided with life saving jackets for the girls.
I loved the time in the water watching all the girls experiencing the stand up paddling for their first time...
A few dives/falls in the river made everything even more exciting!!
Dan and Jess were friendly as and it was a pleasure dealing with them from the beginning when booking the time, til the end when they dropped us back to the car.

I wanted to do something for my 50th birthday that my husband and grown-up daughters could do together. It was my first time at stand up paddle boarding and I found it easy to do. It was relaxing and a bit of fun with the family. Thanks Jess, we had a great time .

We messaged the night before asking if there were any spots available because we thought we’d give it a try on our day off. We got a super fast and friendly reply and it was super easy to book.
It was a little difficult to find the boat ramp at first (where you meet) as we weren’t from Echuca and maps wanted to take us into the big 4 caravan park nearby but we allowed extra time for this (which I recommend doing) and found our way in the end.
The experience itself was so much fun and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to try it, it’s super affordable and the instructor was really friendly! Will definitely be booking again in the future :)

This experience was not on my radar.
I have lived by the Murray River for 11 years and thought I'd used it well (jet ski, boating, fishing, swimming, camping)
I saw the advertisement for Paddle boarding on page 4 or 5 of the tourist guide and booked immediately.
It was the closest I could get to the river and something I have recommended to EVERYONE since!

This was a fun activity & such a lovely way to see & experience the Murray River.

It catered well for everyone in our group - aged 11 to 50+ years - with zero or limited SUP experience.

Highly recommended!

Had the most amazing time with the family! All ages were welcome and had fun. From my little one to grandparents.
I went twice while staying in Echuca.
Totally recommended it and it's definitely a Must do while you stay around the area.
You can get life jackets if your not 100% confident in the water.

We had the best morning! We joined the 8am group and the water was amazing! No boats or jetski’s to manoeuvre around, the water was flat and calm. Snelso was a legend and made it all the more fun. The boards were excellent quality. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I did the 10am Sunday morning session and it was such a nice way to pass the time. The team were super friendly, and although I hadn't done paddleboarding before, it was easy to get going and enjoy myself. Cruising down the Murray was awesome and we'd definitely do it again.
