Fantastic bakery. HUGE range of amazing baked goods. Great pies and sausage rolls. Beautiful home made tomato sauce. Lovely coffee. Super friendly staff. I live in Melbourne which is a two hour drive away, I'll come back to Heathcote just for this bakery. This bakery is better than anything you'll find in Melbourne or Sydney. See you again soon !

The most wonderful bakery. A huge shop with lots of seating and tables. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Lots of different food choices from sweets to savories. Relishes are made at the store and so much more. Well worth stopping by and enjoying their delicacies. You won't be disappointed!

Biggest bakery ever! An amazing selection of pies, pastries, bread, and even lollies and other goodies. The coffee is great and service is exceptional with kind staff. You could also see the products being baked through a window at the back! There is penalty of comfortable seating, as well as a seperate section of gluten free bread.

Amazing coffee. Delicious home made pies with CHUNKS of beef! Crusty pastry and delicious pies, all with big chunks of meat. Pies at the perfect temperature to eat straight away. Fast and friendly service. Huge selection of products. 😊 If you are in Heathcote and after a great meal come to Gafney's.

So glad I stopped here, after I left the nearby Pink Cliffs Reserve. What a great bakery and it’s huge. The Beef Shiraz pie was so so good, as was the custard tart and the long black coffee. So much custard in the tart. I even bought some cold pies, pastie and a sausage roll to take home and freeze for another day

All good here. Avery nice venue and a great selection of pies and cakes. Tea in tea pots (no tea bags). I just had a pastie and pot of tea. Very nice.

Ate lunch here on a busy Thursday morning. I am a local but hadn't been for a while, and I forgot how good this place is, and what an asset to a small country town it is.

My food was great, everyone else certainly seemed to be enjoying theirs, and I bought a tray of cakes for visit to my sisters family in Melbourne. 👍👍👍😃

Very good pies and sausage rolls. My beef, cheese and bacon pie had a beautiful dark gravy and cheese that melted in my mouth. Quality desserts and homemade sauces as well.

We had a great time at this bakery. The pastries were delicious, and the coffee was good. The staff members were friendly, especially Grace, who helped us to find the perfect choice. The space is ample and there are plenty of tables and seats.

Upon entering the countryside bakery store, you will immediately notice the vast array of desserts on display to your left, accompanied by a prominent sign indicating that there is no service area. As you continue to explore, you will come across an impressive selection of family pies, pastries, and a hot pies area where you can place your order.
During my visit, I was delighted to discover a triple chilli beef pie that I had never seen before. The staff were very friendly and even warned me about the spiciness level of the pie, knowing that it might be too hot for some. However, as a lover of California Reaper chillies, I found it to be amazing and packed with a satisfying kick. In addition to the pie, I also enjoyed the homemade tomato sauce which was bursting with flavour. The carrot cake was moist and delectable, although I personally prefer it without icing.

Wonderful experience visiting this bakery at Heathcote. Place is around midway for Melbourne to Echuca trip. They serve both sweet as well as savory bakery items. Coffee is nice too. They have a small play area for kids.

Large bakery on the Main Street of Heathcote. This cafe has many tables and a lounge area to sit and eat. They are famous for their pies of which there are many varieties. I had a beef and mushroom pie and a beef curry pie and both were scrumptious. They have a very efficient queueing and ordering system with coffees being made and picked up at a separate counter. The sweet pastries are delightful too and staff are friendly and efficient.

I only come here for the excellent pies although there is a lot more on offer. My favourites are the triple chilli and the chunky pepper beef. My son’s favourite is the chicken schnitzel pie. They are all the deeper dish size not the touristy rip off version. The place is well known so it is busy but the queues move quickly and the staff are efficient

I recently visited Gaffneys Bakery in Heathcote and had a delightful experience. The bakery is really large and open. It’s really nice inside - definitely one of the fancier bakeries I’ve been to! The coffee station is in the middle of the bakery, and the food service area is along the back; a nice layout. The food is lovely and everything is labelled, which makes ordering super easy. Their bakery made sauces and jams are absolutely delicious and make a great addition to the pantry!

Not what I expected from the outside. Amazing coffee and pie.. You need to definitely go inside to experience this bakery

Excellent bakery. Lots of seating inside and outside on the veranda and footpath. The red wine pie was superb and coffee was great. Fast and friendly service. Local produce is available too. Ample street parking outside. Recommended.

Great food, loved my vegan pastie, and kids meals looked fantastic. Wonderful service, super helpful answering questions about our varying dietary needs. Have recommended to friends who will be passing through tomorrow.

A fully comprehensive bakery! This place has everything from pies and sausage rolls, to vanilla slices, coffee and sweet 'stuff'. Stop here if you're parched and or hungry, you will not regret it! Mmmm, shepherds pie 👍
